I know that this maybe a stupid Question but why are the limit of this "GAME" getting lower. I mean to start wit it was all good people scammed and people duped but now we can't even send a car over 1m and only 1 Car, 5 Paint and 5 Parts PER CONSOLE why is this ?

Do you really expect a fully backed answer resourced from PD.
In the marketplace as well?

Because PD can't understand what people want and see the moaners about duping so do what they think people want. Same with XP, everyone said grinding was annoying so they put XP up a bit and then knock down the prize money, thank you so much... That's my own little view, it's probably wrong but hey...

I agree, every update gets worse. I had to spend a week trying to get 3.56 to work...not because my ps3 was jailbroken, but because I bought a SSD drive to put in it and after trying to update it, it said data was corrupted. C'mon PD, get your stuff together.

I do not think so. I still enjoy driving all the cars that I have. Trading was a plus but its not what I bought GT5 for. I do grind every once and a while but now I mostly tune and compare same like models. Right now I'm driving all my GTRs stock and then upgrading and comparing times on the same track and still having lots of fun doing it.

The real problem is this.

PD is trying to sustain the Gran turismo 5 experience with off line content. As a result they have created a game that will keep gamers interested for longer periods with challenging and demanding off line events and rewards. This is all my own opinion but I base this notion on a few points. 1) No leader boards for ranked racing - Normally an online ranking system is a very important factor when trying to sustain interest for long periods and GT5 lacks that element completely. The perfect examples of Online ranking that have kept my interest would be COD 4 and motor storm PR. 2) allowing users to exploit the offline system not only short cut the offline experience, it also drastically reduces the time gamers stay interested. I think this is one of the underline reasons why there is no trade system and why gifting is being limited. If everyone gets whatever they want too quickly, powers through the small number of events and levels their b-spec racers in say 3months, that individual has pretty much conquered and unlocked a larger percent of the game and with no real online content there isnt much reason to continue playing.

From day one GT5 was introduced as being a gt world, or gt life experience and short cuts and duplicating items drastically reduces one may spend submersed in the GT world. Which is clearly bad for pd and I can think of 6 more reasons why.

I noticed it too going down hill just after the starting line on the Eiger Nordwand track.

That's funny.....it is not going downhill...(except on Eiger)

It is still arguably the best racing game experience out there. I think a big part of the expectations from the fans is the fact that GT4 was really incredible. Then it took several years for GT5 to come to release, so the anticipation of the new game was obviously quite high. Then, when it was finally released, it was good, but I think a lot of people thought it would be better.

It still has a ways to go, but the updates are a great way to add features.

1.07... It's been the best update so far! I'm happy to see the Marketplace disappear.

But the updates aren't bringing any new features, the seasonal events went from tricky to easy then to huge payouts then back to low payouts and from new events weekly to now they are whenever,90% of the cars are 10years out of date wit no sign of any new cars being added either by ps store dlc or via an update. gt5 is the laughing stock of the games industry.

The laughing stock of the game industry?? Dude, please.....what are you smokin'?

I'm not saying it's perfect, but I have played the others, and overall this one is still pretty damn good. But, maybe they are trying to do too much with this game, when they should just perfect what they already have.

If youre bored of GT5 already, help is coming in the form of Shift 2... Im not going to touch that further..

Have you gotten Gold on EVERYTHING yet? If the answer is no, you arent done with the game. And if its yes, go to the online racing section, and join up in a league of some sort.

The game just needs more (and better) A spec races. Many of the cars in the game are severely underutilized.

just look at your sig... 3 garages...wtf. blame people like yourself

before the 1.07 update it was nice to visit this forum discuss things and have fun

after the update the only thing thats happening on this forum is people telling eachother it ur fould because u dupe or grind aut.

u know what keep attacking people it will get lots more fun to stay in this forum !!

I agree that it is an effort to keep you immersed in GT5 longer.

I disagree with PD logic, not your statement. In my opinion what brings me back to playing GT5 more and more is driving cars. It is a passion that I will never lose and GT5 allows me to do it. I don't get bored of racing, I get bored of racing the same car and track over and over, IE grinding. What would keep me immersed is the ability to acquire different cars and race them on different tracks. Trading helped this a lot because of the relative ease to acquire a car.

The problem is another go getter is going to see the mistakes that PD is making, do a hell of a sell job on the people who can get it done, and make a game that gives people what they want....and come that time, me and many others will jump ship, even though I have been a loyal supporter for all these years. Which pissses me off even more....nothing like screwing the guy who has supported you all these years. Once they turn, they make the most commited enemies. At the VERY LEAST give us a few weeks, not a few hours....lame, lame, lame.

Hmmmm.... Did you see the date on that CLOSED thread?

Regardless, I'm going to assume that you are assuming that I have a problem with traders and dupers. Personally, I don't care about that and I don't have a problem with a 12-year-old kid running around with 22 different X2010s. What I don't like about the Marketplace (and why I won't shed a tear for its departure) is that it is full of posters who can't seem to find the shift key, endless thread bumping, awful grammar, and I also find it to be a poor representation of what I understand GTPlanet to be about. The whole Marketplace is overflowing with AUP violations.

then why are u trading tickets and X1 there ????? :guilty:

See what I mean?

In case you are wondering about what I am referring to:

•You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

So now that you've got what you needed from the marketplace. Does that mean no one else deserves a shot at it? And please don't troll on about spellings and 12 yr olds and what not... That's like the lamest defense I've seen people put up.

To you it might be the lamest defense, but it is my only real gripe about the system. Duping, trading, etc. don't bother me at all. If there were a cleaner system without so much spam and bump threads, it would be great. If it doesn't bother you, go for it.
