I spotted three red F1 cars and a LMP race car at the 24 second mark. Also, three white 1980s RX7s with black hoods next to the Valvoline cars. Feel free to correct my findings.

Yep, I think this strenghtens the assumption of all these cars being in the game.

As many here mention the Diablo, I just have to bring this up: I have a semi-confimation for this car. They probabely modeled it for GT3, back then in 2000. Look at 02:30. (And I'm talking about the STREET car version, not the race-Diablo, which everyone knows.)

They definitely modelled it Alex. It was in the Japanese version. Have a look on google ;)

Think so too. But I am talking specifically about the normal, street car version, which can be seen in the "We love cars" add, not the racing, JGTC, Nomad version, which actually was included in, as you already pointed that out, the Japanese version of GT3.

Thats amazing how a video with random toy cars may turn out to be clues as to what cars could be in the game. I wonder will the slide be one of the tracks in GT5? :)

Might be wrong but the red convertible looks like it could be a 1950 Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta.

The third car looks like an old Nissan 350Z [EDIT: 300ZX, not 350Z. Thanks PirateThom], but a bit different.
