Maybe there aren't any Ferrari cars in that picture simply because TopGear magazine didn't want displaying that special Ferrari licence banner being forced onto them which may suggest bias in an objective magazine to those unfamiliar with the legal demands of Ferrari SPA.

Hmmm I don't know, the white writting on the hood seems like the 'NATIONAL GUARD' thing. Anyway, that's not a new car so I'm okay with both.

Trust me on this, the Red Bull is a Toyota as well, thereby making it even more distinguishable.

Curiosity, why is Amazon.com (USA) giving the Prima Guide a estimated release date from December 6th-8th, why not push it's released date also back to placeholder date of December 31, same date as the game. I thinking the guide won't release until the game is out.

Well, the prima date is the 1st because they have no date info. The DEC 31st date for GT5 is what AMAZON received from SONY, the publisher.

Car next to the Peugeot Sport 908 HDi FAP is the 2010 Team Oreca-Matmut 908 HDi FAP. Please update.

Haha you guys are top in recognizing cars. I do like your efforts!

You can see in this photo of the GT5 schedule board it says "2nd November: Play GT5 on my own, decided to keep it just for myself because it's too good to share"

I can't help noticing that that schedule board is looking pretty empty. No wonder they're failing to make deadlines ;)

They only had the November issue of TG at the shop. They did have chocolate raisins if anyone's interested xD

I hope you brought enough chocolate raisins for the whole cla... I mean, forum.

And on topic, if only Sony could understand that occasional leaks of info like that Top Gear shot are perfect for restoring a little goodwill. Especially when they allow for some guessing games.

Do you guys think that the last car (the furthest, last row, completely on the right) is the Lexus Open Interface SC430 '06 ? I think it was mentionned 2 years ago by some source. The livery seems to match right ?

Look at all those cars!!! And if I counted correctly thats only half of the premiums!

Actually, it's 36% of them at the very most.

6*15 rows = 90 cars.
((At least) 250 Premium cars /90)*100% = 36% of the game's Premium car count.

Too many Premium race cars, in my opinion.
I would have preferred more balance toward road cars.

Correction: 6 x 16 rows = 96 cars. 38.4% :sly:

I was thinking that maybe there are no Ferraris in the picture because PD wants to reserve them... And make some epic Ferrari trailer with unseen classics or something. That would be very Polyphony's way of making things, and would be nice :)

👍
I'm with you, I prefer to drive road car rather than protype:tdown: or race car!

Erm... I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but I'm pretty sure that the pic has standard AND premium cars in it... I think that they look kinda good together from a standstill... I think they'll look fine in motion. Dontcha think?

Thats not even half the premium cars don't you think you should wait till you see the whole car list?

Since when is it said to contain 250 Premium cars? I've only heard 200.

I agree with you but hey, it's just a matter of taste. It's great to have both but more road cars would have been better. Anyway that's just detail ;)

I'm talking about gt in general, I don't like so much prototype car.

Bow down to the mighty math man!! Your brain is so huge, I feel honoured that you took time to correct the gleaming mistake in my swift generalisation.

Though for one that is obviously so intelligent as youself, I'm surprised you cant count!

There are 16 rows, totaling 96 cars and 38% of a 250 car total.

I myself was working off the basis of the '200+ premium car' tag line.

I guess the majority of the other half :sly: could be road cars. I'm sure there will be a good proportion betweem the two, you've not liked GT games all this while for no reason ;)

Correction: 6*16 rows - 2 cars missing on the last row = 94 cars. 37.6% of the game's Premium count. :sly:
No, all 96 are there. Do a cross check down the rows starting from the furthest column on the right. You'll see. Also, where did you hear 250 premiums?
