I've read how people bought a PS3 for GT5.
This question is to them.

Would you buy a launch PS4 only for a GT game?

Does anyone know a good website to "mastering" tracks? Or at least learning how to improve on them? I should have bought the CE of GT5 which includes the Apex book, but I'm sure there are some alternatives.

Just practise, A LOT.
Drive a track like 250 times, and you will improve, for sure 👍

In a blink of an eye :-), if GT game is also on launch day

Well if I remember correctly, there was a small part in the manual in one of the GT games that showed you how to approach a corner... but that was about it.

I'm amazed anyone believed him. He didn't even have proof! As for the pics of someone playing gt5 on the xmb, it's possible that they simply cropped out the 'prologue' part. I'm not convinced of anything I've seen so far and I think everyone should be careful about getting their hopes up, especially surrounding this game.

The thing about that is, if they were playing GT5P it would be capitals "GRAN TURISMO", but in the pic its in lower case. Also the peeps at neogaf seemed to be unable to show that its a fake.

The only thing thats bugging me is the case, which has the GT logo in one tone grey where as the official rendered pics Sony has provided us with, have a gradient to the logo.

I just hope that Sony is going to make an announcement today, cause I think this is no way of treating your fans/customers. They should work on that a lot more than on some stupid anti-piracy ****

the only fear i have is that the GT-Life mode is a copy of the PSP version. Thats killing!

Mittel-European Awesomeness, simple as that.

don't fear .... wait .... experience .... judge ... :sly:

If the game is good, who the 🤬 cares about the disc?
So, if I say the game disc looks a bit naff, does that mean I am putting a higher importance on the game disc over the game itself? No, of course not. I wish people would use a bit of common sense and realise that when people mention something as trivial as the disc art, that is all they are referring to.

If there's been 550,000 copies shipped to France, does that mean the game will be released before December? Seems risky keeping them somewhere for 3 weeks

If you read carefully what I said...I don't care either, i just said i don't like the graphics.

It depends where they are being shipped from, how they are being shipped, and when the last of the locations will get their stock. The thing is, production is going to take some time, but they cannot just let stock sit there at the manufacturing plants. So they ship stuff out as it is being made, meaning yes, stock could be sat around the world for 2 or 3 weeks. Maybe! ;)

I still keep hoping that theyll suprise us today and release it tomorrow

But i thought they had multiple plants over the globe:dunce:

you are right, they do have multiple plants, actually they have over 20 plants so the disk won't be shipped from one place. i guess we will have the game by the end of this month.

Right, but not in every single location though, and some locations may be dedicated to producing multiple countries versions.

Just think, from going gold to getting the discs stamped, artwork printed, box contents manufactured, game packs assembled, all packaged up, shipped out to the various distributers around the globe, and from there to stores and retailers...you don't do that with millions of units overnight. It takes time, regardless of where you are making things.

I'm not saying we won't have it late November/early December, because it is looking highly likely, but to hit that deadline they need to start shipping now, which they are doing.

What is the reason that we still don't know a release date?
Is it because Sony wants to be sure every country has enough copies for the release? That could be one reason in my eyes.

I would say that is highly likely to be the reason, yes. They absolutely cannot afford another false start, so this time they are playing it safe by getting stock out there first. After that it is a known quantity and they can announce a date accordingly.

I know and I understand they don't wanna make another false start, but I just hope they also underderstand we need information quick! The way there acting right now makes it look like they don't give a **** about their fans and I am 100% sure that nor Sony as Polyphony Digital don't want that.
