Guys, any site saying the 27th as a release date for the US is dead wrong.
 
what was the name of the second guy who was gonna have a copy today

I respect what they have done, no doubt about that. You would have to be a complete idiot to think that once the game starts to get mass produced, you wont have leaks. I do not think that PD are that niave to wake up this morning and see a video of leaked footage and be at all shocked by this. I have seen ALOT of gameplay leaked for numerous games over the last few years prior to their release. So I cannot see why I should feel sorry for anyone.

PS: Your recent posts are conflicting with eachother, To me it seems like your head is all over the place. You might want to step away for a moment or two and gather your thoughts.

On the point of feeling for Kaz, I have a feeling that these leaks could have a bad effect on the future of GT. Kaz doesnt do this for the money (at least it is not his prime motivator), he does it because it is his passion.

Passion is just an overused and overrated term to describe a hobby or interest to make it appear more socially acceptable in my opinion.
Sure he undeniably has a great 'passion' for cars and car culture but he couldn't achieve running this company and build a game on a scale of what GT5 promises to be, if he didn't get a return and as for his own salary, indulging in his 'passion' doesn't come free too you know.
This wasn't meant disrespectful to him, just a hint of common sense I hope.

Would make sense to release it at november 23rd in the USA and on the 24th and 25th in europe to go togheter with the Madrid party.
 
I can believe those release dates now, coz knowing Sony, they will eventually confirm it, same like the delay. We heard from others, and then eventually Sony.

Kinda like the movies. The cops always arrive at the scene when the shooting and killing of the bad guys are over....lol

I'm pleased that none of the trophies are linked to any courses other than the Nurburgring. Like "Beat 1 min 20 on Deep Forrest" for example.........Be great to just put the game on, and just let things run their course (no pun intended, but if people laugh then intended). I'm very sure there are many course suprises we don't know about so will be great to just let them unveil themselves during game progression.

I'm not from US how can Saturday be a Black friday ?

Anyone can post a story on N4G. And the 27th is a Saturday and Sony isn't going to release a game on that day.
 
CM has the license for the F1, but I think the teams are still allowed to sell licenses of their cars. GT/Sony ist not allowed to call it F1 or anything like this, but Ferrari can release their car in another game. Just like the Ferrari in GT5P and like the F10 in FVA.
 
I think all these sites have their dates miced up. I think GT5 is coming out on the week of the 30th, starting with a release in NA on the 30, than Europe, Japan and Australia in what ever days games get released in their respective regions.

Why not? Its day after Black Friday so every shop will be open for sure, they'll miss a little of Black Friday but i think that this date could be possible.
 
So it turns out those poor quality photo shopped fake discs were real then ?
 
seems possible, but id rather hear it from sony and not some back door source. so lame that this is coming into stores and yet they do not have release date.

Because it's a Saturday and they simply don't release games that day. If they were trying to hit Black Friday then it would be released on the 23rd so that it would actually be out on Black Friday.

And don't forget sub-licenses, maybe Codies allowed more current F1 cars to be included as long as GT5 got delayed in return.....;)
