Also you have to remember that no one really knows what happens when you smash a Gallardo into a wall at 120, well...total annhilation of the car but of course PD couldn't do that :lol:

Hey tekken try to find a damage setting in the menus, maybe both mechanical and visual have to be turned on somewhere.

He said like 3 times he couldn't find any option about damage. But I guess it's just arcade mode.

Same here! ;) So there is a very good implemetation of tires temperature. I wonder if this affect the handling of the car.

The mode he was running on, was arcade mode.

Wait, now I'm confused. Have commercials aired already on speed or was that just more speculation? The way it was worded it sounded like GT5 commercials had already been seen on speed tv this morning.

some settings could unlock as you progress in the game ... just like in GT5P ... probably:confused:

Yes, they said bits and pieces of the car got thrown across the track.
 
If he's playing in arcade mode, then damage might be toned down regardless of having professional physics or not. Plus he said he's only at the beginning of GT Mode.

They have. I'm not sure, but I think Dave said he seen it 3 times already.

Today is shaping up to be a pretty good day so far...Gran Turismo 5 release date "in 24hours", birthday and birthday breakfast in bed from my Girlfriend...Today is GOOD. haha.

Not wanting to put a damper on the day but...Are we sure that we're getting the release date today/tommorrow? (depending on geography).

so it seems, that for some reason, everybody thinks the release of a release date is close?

why is this? i've missed out on a lot, and reading through 100's of pages will take me too long!

all i can say is i'm so damn excited for this game! many people are saying 23rd November... isn't that a little close to be feasible?!
 
Seen it 4 tines in a 2 hour period. Turkey fryer infomercial is on now.
