Regrading DLC, the term DLC refers to paid for downloaded content. KY may well want no DLC for GT5, but we still may get updates ala GT5P.

But I bet Sony will want DLC from PD! Think about the big games and how much extra they bring in from DLC.

No, why would we be? They're already working on GT6, there's no reason to think there will be GT5 DLC unless they did exactly what Kaz said they wouldn't do, and held back some content just to sell it as DLC.

at the end of the day DLC= money. i mentioned earlier, that MW2 sold 17 Million dollars worth of it. GT5 is sony biggest title for some time, they will pressure PD into something. People will buy it, people want it, sony will give it. Even if we get some of the older tracks, that will do , people will blindly buy it. i will. you will.

GT6 i would imagine expand on the features- livery editior, etc.tighten the game up in places, they will hold certain cars back for sure, but i cannot see why GT5, sony would not release DLC for GT5.

Hence why I said, the lists that are on the front page, are not correct.

They're updating the actual GT site, but GTP has the old list. Who knows what else they got wrong, chances are we'll see quite a few more changes over the day.

Oh, sorry, I hadn't seen the new posts on the front page. But still, it's been changed on the Official Sony site, so it's safe to say it was a typo originally.

Hoping for more changes as well. Two Premium Integra DC5's but the DC2 is Standard

It is Sony we're talking about, and it could be a possibility that it would show up as a free update as with GT5P. Then again, we don't really know how much is missing till we get it in 12 days

I wonder how gt6 will be, 2000 cars, 1800 standard ones, where there are 20 copys of the same model, no tuning and modding what so sver for the 1800 standard cars, no interior, and even no exterior, just invisible cars, its the driving feeling that counts right?

No Supras, M3, M5, vipers, corvetter etc, etc in game, just multiple skylines, daihatsu midgets, cappuchinos, tata motors etc.

Sounds good eh?

Which GT-R is that? It looks like the list have all the new GT-Rs to me even the black mask, SpecV and SpecV GT Academy version... unless you're talking about something else?

In the few hours since the release date, there has been a lot of talk on DLC, so people obviously want feel that there are newer cars that could be added. I am one of those people that would love DLC to extend the GT brand further.

Ain't that the truth. I've seen EA selling a single course like Emerald Dragon as NEW for eight bucks as DLC for Tiger Woods '11 when it was introduced to the series in Tiger Woods '04. Now I don't expect that kind of pricing model for GT5, but Sony would be foolish not to take advantage of the current market conditions for such a popular game.

He and others are assuming the "RM" at the end of the cars' names in the list stands for "Racing Modification."
