some dudes here is very very ungrateful..

Seriously? When I pay for something, I don't have to be grateful. If my car breaks down and someone stops to help me, then I can be grateful. If I get in some trouble and someone helps me out, then I can be grateful. When a game is hyped beyond belief and then seems to have failed on that hype on more than one level, what's there to be grateful for? That hey finally gave us a date? If the games hasn;t been delayed there would be no reason to be gateful for that either. Only then it would be easier to swallow as it wouldn;t have take 6 years.
I'd go and write this in the EMO thread but I see no point since people get bashed there for complaining as well.

I played GT5 prologue for 2 straight years, do the math, 70 cars 5 circuits. Imagine what I could do with +200 premium and 40 tracks, and incredible online, tuning shops, challenges, b spec.....

No doubt man, I still play GT5P man I know i will play GT5 for a long time. The GT5 demo was so addictive and you could not do nothing but drive. I remember staying in Game Stop for 2 hours playing the GT5 Demo  GT5 is going to be fun.

Quite disappointed; not one new Hyundai, Vauxhall/Opel/Citroen (apart from ones we've seen) and no cars from Kia, no new Suzuki cars (ditto) and nothing at all from the European side of Chevrolet/Daewoo. Not to mention no Alfa Gulietta/MiTo and no Citroen DS3/C3 >;o

I would have also liked to see a few more Daihatsu cars and Fiat, and maybe some Volvo. The Japanese list just seems to grow.. and grow, and grow. Then again, the game and it's producer/developer/Kaz is Japanese, but in real life not every car is Japanese. This is of course, the 'Real Driving Simulator'.

Without DLC GT5 will be dead by this time next year, simple as that.

Huh? What will you be playing to feed your GT hunger? Seriously, this game is so huge that most of us won't even be able to reach 100% completion before GT6 comes out. If you've taken a look at the trophy list, some of those things are friggin impossible.

The only people who would drop GT5 are those people who got the game by hype and expected another supercar racing game to get some quick adrenaline rush. The appeal will drop off for sure when they smash into a wall in Turn 1. The hardcore GT fans are going to be aiming at 'golding' the licenses, doing GTP WRS, track days, buying all the available colours for each cars, doing 24 hour races trying out different combinations in A-spec. Then there are also B-Spec to keep the game going.

This game is so huge. People will stop playing the game not because they've completed it, but they've given up on 100%.

trolla in swedish means doing tricks, lik magicians do, and that exactly what pd has done for us, thay have delayed the game several times, and yet they havent told us the very important features of the game in the begining. That results in dissapointed people that have waited 5 years for the next big thing, the new era of sim racing games, but what is new exept for high detailed cars, dynamic weather, and the so called realistic physics? Good driving physics shood be standard for games like these nowdays, so thats nothing unusual really. Every new game claimes to have the dest physics etc, but then new games are comming out aswell.

I'm a little disappointed in the track and car list tbh. Makes me wonder what they've been doing for the last 6 years.

Maybe be grateful that they released the "official" car and track list?

The Alfa Romeo 159 should have been included. When it came out, along with the Brera, both cars were voted "The Most Beautiful Production Cars In The World" by the international press. WTH?

The Genesis Coupe is another huge oversight in my opinion.

I am very excited the AR 8c Competizione and the TZ are in though :)))))

I can't wait to drive the 8C too!

Everyone forgets so fast about all of the features that this game is bringing the table just because "so & so car is standard," or "so & so track didn't make the cut."

.

I'll bite, what features?

Maybe be grateful that they released the "official" car and track list?

Having the cars now just made me delay my purchase of the game if anything. SO I guess I should be grateful.

Kinda bummed there's no New York circuit or lambo Reventon but otherwise I can't complain ,can't wait to finally play. Also I see the F40 is standard. So does this mean there's no interior view for it? Can't they just transfer that camera angel from prolouge?

I have no problems with the car list. It is about what I expected really. I am a bit dissapointed that some of my favorite GT4 tracks did not make it in. I was really looking forward to driving El-Capitan, Seattle and Infineon again.

On the other hand they have added some new tracks that look interesting not to mention the track editor. I think I will be content for some time just with the offline stuff and if the online is done right then I should be happy until GT6.

Its really funny people want to ban me, just because i talk bad about gt5, i havent broke any forum rules, actually it is allowed to joke a little bit, since everyone else doing that on this forum. Im not trolling, im having a good discussion here, but im think you are affraid that i might have right in certain things about the game, and you are affraid that you will also become dissapointed, when you see the real tuning life.

You're flamebaiting other forum users. I know from experience that it's a bad idea.

Yes, so verry real that you going to drive your tuned 700 hp supra in stock rims, even though majority of those tuned streetcars has visual upgrades aswell.

Ever heard of Sleepers?

Car list is similar to GT3 in numbers. I'm sure PD spent most of their time on graphics and tracks and weather. GT6 I think will be much sooner, maybe 2012 and the graphics I think will be much the same with only one or two more tracks but much more premium cars.

I think mate WE over-hyped GT5 with our demands/requirements that PD never confirmed =/

EDIT: I am happy that i ll have the game at 24 Nov nothing else matters at the moment for me.
The wisest think we can do now is to be happy about the release date, and when we have it in our hands we can judge the game,we cant judge it without playing it.

Yeah some things don't seem to be right....as the guy some comments up here already said, the Ferrari F40 isn't premium which is strange cause it was in GT5P. I think the same goes for the track list.

Learn to read.

Driving is not installing aftermarket wheels on cars.

GT5 does not claim to be "The Real Tuning Simulator"

It is the experience and realism of the driving experience that is GT5's strong point.
