Gah 5 more days. I feel like Tuesday was forever ago and it was only 3 days ago. Lol

we should have weekly VS races where gtp member race their favorite cars against each other

Nope, didn't work as I hoped. Walmart didn't have theirs out and the people at GameStop told me that they had like 60 boxes in the back and they was too busy to do anything with them at the moment.. but yet they wasn't doing anything as I was the only customer in the store. Guess I'm stuck waiting til Wednesday.

EDIT: They not doing a midnight release here either. Dude told me that hardly anybody reserved GT5. :grumpy::grumpy:
 
just went by my local game stop in the states and they laughed at me and said no way in hell can they sell it before the 24th... and they wouldn't tell me if they even had them in stock! on a side note they said i was the 3rd one in today asking about it

This may seem a bit random, but with all the supposed sales of GT 5 in france, i thought i'd put it out there. play.com have GT 5 listed as in stock at the moment. can anyone say if they have ordered from there and let me know what that's all about?

At my 4 local gamestation stores here in the UK i was told `theres not enough interest`for them to do a midnight release!Also as far as the store guy was aware theres no pre-order DLC like there was for Forza 3 either,though this may change.

The guys here are 360 players. He basically told me to come back Wednesday. I almost said something, but walked out. As I was leaving he said everybody who's selling the game before the street date is gonna get shut down. I just laughed.

To say that they will be shut down is laughable. There have been scattered reports of people in the U.S. getting copies early from retailers. I am willing to bet that it won't even put a blip on anyone's radar.

To be honest, selling games before street days has an extremely high fine, so I do not know how some stores are actually selling early?

I'm sure there are ways to fly it under the radar, especially at lesser known local stores.

I know, so what's 1 more copy gonna do? It's unfar that people get 4 to 5 days of a head start on other people.
