I REALLY want to watch that Nascar Pit Stop video. Really want to. but trying not to. its so hard. I will only watch videos of tracks/cars we seen before. gah!

please anybody that have a g27 and of this new copies in France or whatever please let us know if paddle shifting, clutch and lights work ok

don't look too deep into this..maybe they just needed cars
 
I'm assuming all the PAL versions of the game are the same, i.e. a multi language thing. Right?

Wondering if I should order one from France instead of the UK
 
Hey people!
I live in France and GT5 is out TODAY in MICROMANIA stores in about an hour or so. Bu only standard versions. Collector and signature versions will be released on Monday afternoon!
So I thought I would get mine today to play all weekend but I'll have to wait a long weekend before I can enjoy it...

The UK versions of Sony's games often only have English language (to force the other European country not to order in UK, where the games are cheaper due to the currency).

But the French versions are almost always multilanguage ones.

In previous GT's, and in particular GT4, racing brakes didn't improve anything, since there was no brake fade simulation, so it was a useless modification.
I wonder if brake upgrades have been completely omitted in GT5 because correct brake dynamics haven't been implemented yet in the physics engine.
As I wrote in another post, brakes are essentially the first thing one should upgrade in real life for serious race track/track day use, as standard brakes will usually fade out very fast and not last more than a few laps on a short sized track.
 
I'm about to head out for my GT5 hunt. I hope I can come across something. :nervous:

They haven't. There's a video here of someone changing brake balance.

He means actually buying better brakes. Not just tuning them.
 
I wish I hadn't looked at this thread, it's going to bug me that other people are getting hold of this days before I can walk into a shop & grab it, AND, I've got a weekend of decorating to look forward to instead.

At least I've got Wednesday booked off, as long as Game figure out that Wednesday is the release day, & let me have my pre-ordered copy. My local one isn't known for it's intelligent staff. Most of them are barely out of nappies.
