Again the Nascar trailer in a topic. Sad. I thought this was a GT forum.
 
So gald G27 is fully supported, even the lights. Good stuff. Excitement level at 400%

By the way, you can now get a free GT5 racing suit designed by MCR in Home. Just go to the Central Plaza walk up to the kiosk, and click the new items icon. You'll see a GT5/MCR logo, if you click on that, helmet, gloves and suit will be available. Don't worry, they don't cost anything.

Will I have the suit ingame or only in Playstation Home itself.Not that I will get it I hate these guys 👎
 
Wow ! NASCAR looks pretty good !! the cars obviously dont look as good as Gran Turismo NASCAR's but still , if you love NASCAR then it will be a must buy

How many time you have seen spectacular trailer by EA or any other game maker? and the game has been Big Fail! I have.

Pretty strange.I live in a smallish seaside town,Game is next door but one to Gamestation on the high street and neither of them are opening midnight.Maybe its just the larger town stores that are doing it?

come on guys the early copies are usually pocketed I have a close friend who does this with big releases all the time if one store in every state of the us let one copy go thats 3k PD got screwed over for these illegal pre-sales will have an affect on first day sales dont you guys want PD to break some records?

Didn't think about that, but yes I do, tired of hearing about COD/BO. Guess I'll keep praticing with my wheel on prologue til then.
 
GAME are superior to Gamestation. Though if one does it, I'm sure the other will follow.

An ON-topic comment about NASCAR: I'm really curious to know with what "level" of cars they'll match up well with on an individual basis. And by "level" I don't mean the game's in-game progress tracking. I mean more like what types of cars they will be most competitive against. I mean I'm certainly not expecting them to turn comparable laps to the F-1 cars or the exotic racers, but they should easily handle many true "stock cars".

Also curious if we'll be able to remove the restrictor plates and let 'em just go full-bore.

Not to mention this isnt even EA(who have made decent car games like Porsche Unleashed and F1-99-02.) but Activision, who brought us Tony Hawk(which progressively sucked more and more) and the train wrecks that are True Crime games...
In fact the only car game theyve made is Interstate 76 a Twisted Metal rip off.

Sorry NASCAR fans, looks like NR2003 is the closest you're gonna get for a while.

GT5 has the physics, the graphics, the potential, but too little in the form of content to support even a Miniature season.

What did you expect from a CG trailer? Of course that's going to look good. Wait till you see the not so exciting in-game graphics and the not so exciting in-game action. Like most other NASCAR games, this one will "probably" be just as mediocre.

FAIL! ACTUALLY SINCE EA QUALITY IN ALL SPORTS GAMES ARE GOING DOWN THE TUBE THEY HAVE GAVE UP ON MOST OF THEIR FLAGSHIP REHASHED YEARLY SPORTS GAMES and let other developers take a stab at em ACTIVISION FOR NASCAR!

All I care about is the G27 compatibility. Glad it all works paddles and all. So how do we map the six buttons on the wheel??
 
If the Nascar track has a reverse option, can you tune the car to turn right?

I would appreciate it if you checked the G27 options aswell, button assignment as posted above and about hitting triangle at the beggining of the race and testing the clutch and clutch kicking maybe. One last thing if you have GTPSP and/or your old GT5:P save can you import the garage/save file into GT5. Thanks 👍
 
I repeat! I'm afraid we can't map the wheel button on G 25 or G27 for time being.

But i have not made further research.

If it's confirmed, i hope there will be an update on this (even if for me it's not very important, once you know which is for handbrake)

Oh am sorry I thought you were in the UK as your location just has ??? for me and I was confused knowing you went and came back really fast. Enjoy the game 👍 and if you can check about the importing of the garage data I would appreciate it aswell :)
