Just think about it. Epic Said the UE4.0 runs on next Gen already and they will Show the Engine this Year.
Epic have to have Specs or a DevKits to make this kind of Statment.

The Sony console have a 6-7 Year cycle. MS dont Comment rumours and Sony just Said a announcement would hurt the PS3/Vita.
Notic (read Between the Lines): The "said" we are working on but will Not announce it and Focus on Vita.

And we have some rumours or Statment from Developer which are already Planing next Gen Games. Some have the Engine ready. A Game Needs about 2-3 years.
The Witcher devs for example.

GT6 wouldn't Add much value on ps3. The Game has to be released 2012/2013. And PD is a Little Bit Slow. They Need 4-6 years to Get a Game right. Just think about it and ask yourself. Why do you want to Pay. They could Add Modes, Cars, Tracks etc. Via DLC or Patch.

Is a fake. Search for Unreal Engine 3.9 on YT and you See what the Xbox be Capable of. Not mentioned PS4, because Epic confirmed that the UE4.0 runs on next Gen console and Epic was hardly and early envolved in the 360 development. So they Talked about Xbox and maybe the PS4.

Are some GT5 next dlc rumours out here?

- 64 Cars on Track or more
- better and realistic AI
- better physics
- other Things
- better weather effects
- and so much more

And other Things which improve the GT experience. For example

- Cross Voice Chat
- better wheels (USB3.0 can send more Information)

Why do you want a GT6 on PS3? The New console will be released 2013-2014 and PD couldn't Add a Lot of Cars, modes etc. in 2012/2013. A GT6 ps3 Release Makes no sense.

They can just Update Gt5.

Do you think PS4 handle 64 and more cars perfect modelled car models? I didn't even 16 players races. There is no problem with Weather transition. Its thge best scene for racing games.

Surely, GT6 can be a more refined for a console they already know instead of PD having to start over for another new console.

That would make track days on the Nurburgring so much more fun. It's not that much fun to do a lap and only pass one or two cars. Though I think they should have limits based on the size of the track. I wouldn't want to see that many cars on some a track like Autumn Ring or Tsukuba, where it would be much too crowded.

Yes Please and I'll wait. Till then update GT5 and feed out some tracks and cars to keep us from starving.

Those DLC will buy you some serious time PD as you build GT6.

GT6 will be evolution not revolution. The physics engine will be tweaked, but other then that, the base engine will remain. You're right, PD didn't spend all that money for one game. They also didn't spend it all for one console either.


Given that Kaz has already talked about the limitation of the PS3, says to me he's not interested in developing another game for it. Rather build up a massive back catalogue of game data for ps4 rather than waste it on an outdated and soon to be replaced console.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they already have 150+ cars modled and a few tracks. It's not as if they've sat on their heels since GT5 was released and as modelling has become more efficient.

1. PC can handle 64 Cars on Track. I dont want to Talk about devekoper Tricks like "LOD". The Cars have a higher quality than the p Cars of gt5.
2. Forza 4 has 16 Player races.
4. The weather in GT5 is Bad.
5. To Talk with friend and it dont depends what they do
6. It will not be released on PS3. So you think the PS4 will be released 2017? No you're wrong. 2013-2015 are the years of the New Generation.
7. The Used about 70million and made much more Money. PD is Good but Slow. They needed 5-6 years. GT could be a release Game for the ps4. Or Near the Release. And made money with GTP and GT5.

7.1 The Engine is a multi Core with massiv Theads Engine. They can increase the Details and do some polish. This would be Engine 2.0 Based on the GT5 Engine.

8. I am a Fan of GT but why do you want to Pay for a New Game? They can do Patches and DLC.

9. The p Cars are already in higher Res. Mh. Ok Turn10 and other Developer Create their texture and Content in higher Resolution than the ps3 can handle. So why Not PD?

I want to pay for gt6 on ps3 because I know I'd get way more new content for my money, plus more besides, than if I buy dlc for gt5!!

They'll definitely release another title on ps3. Could be tourist trophy 2, though.

oooh but they have. There may not be videos of it, but in the past PD has made some great promotion campaigns. And let's not also forget their huge role in sponsoring major racing events like Le Mans and Nururgring 24h races.

What exactly would you call the ones for the Ferrari California, the 458 and the Mercedes SLS AMG then? Last I checked, none of those cars are Japanese.

Actually, so far the non-JP cars outnumber the JP ones. We could go back to Prologue, I suppose, with the GTR (although, that was only in-game). That would put it at a tie. But then even further back, the GT:HD demo, puts it back in non-JP's favour. ;)

I think you were wanting to make a point and were just hoping that PD really were as xenophobic as you'd like to rationalise them as (so now there must be some other reason they haven't done the video you personally desire).

I don't mind them coming up with a new promo video, either (in time). But what you said was just daft, sorry.

EDIT: Wow; I guess you're popular. Don't take it personally. But maybe you ought to have thought that one through a bit more. :)

You don't see that immediate attention for a EU or a U.S. car, yet alone a concept. Where's the 302 Boss video? The [insert EU car here] video? The Huyara video? Etc, etc. What I am preaching is nothing new. So please, for all us, let's not act surprised.

So because they haven't made anything recent for a non-Japanese car, they automatically not making any promos for a non Japanese car?

In case you haven't noticed, Both those cars recently announced were big time news because they are both relative to car culture, the 86 being a big name returning and the NSX another and very likely, both Toyota and Honda might have commissioned PD to make both of those.

Exactly who's acting surprised? Nothing surprising about another person claiming xenophobia just because their favorite non Japanese car isn't in the game or getting a promo vid.

Edit: Regarding the Huayra, Surely you didn't forget about the part where EA signed an exclusive one year deal with Pagani to not have that car featured in anything other then Shift 2. Hard to do promos when the company is contratually obligated not to give you their car for a year.

Psychologically, yes. Obviously, it's not 100% accurate. Exaggeration; surely you've heard of it.

But let's keep a running tally of how many days it takes to see a promo for a non JP car.

Firstly the rhetoric here just indicates ignorance, or anything parallel to that and to be vague Japanese cars do not "cut the cake" as your other European exotics in many dimensions. The ft86 being a decent car cannot live up to the standards of the haikiroku and some are not expecting it to, and giving what other driving rivals have implemented in their franchises it fails to amaze me how uncontrustively bias OR incontextualised your statement is. :dunce:

Where exactly do I mention anything about "Expectations"? I specifically state that both cars ARE a big deal. The GT 86 is the first sports car from Toyota in quite some time and ironically enough, it carries the name that has a massive following so tell me how that isn't a big deal. Likewise, the NSX is another name that has a following. And please, do me tell how I'm being "bias". Because I'm not constintly bitching about how their are no Koenigeseggs or no Porsches or more recent Ferraris and Aston Martins? You have a very crappy definition of bias if my post (which in no way indicates any sort of favoritism) has that as you claim. You want to continue making this argument, let's take this to the PMs because this thread goes off topic enough as it is.
