I wonder how many videos PD are supposed to be making alongside updates to GT5 and work on GT6 etc. anyway. It's shocking that, out of the 200 ish Premium cars in the game, only six or so of them have had marketing material dedicated to them. They ought to redress that balance.
 
Yeah, the whole Standard/Premium devide is peanuts compared to the massive divide between cars featured in promos and the ones which didn't.
How can we expect to treat a car seriously if it didn't appear in some promo?

The ones they did videos for were just coming out. It's not like they did videos of classic Japanese cars and nothing else.
 
While playing GT5 this morning, I noticed something funny.

You unlock the Formula GT championship at level 23, but you have to be level 24 to buy the one car that can be used in the event.:dunce:
 
So I was taking some pics of the Aventador in GT5 and noticed the VIN number clearly displayed, so I looked it up online...

This is the car PD used for GT5:

GT6 will be evolution not revolution. The physics engine will be tweaked, but other then that, the base engine will remain. You're right, PD didn't spend all that money for one game. They also didn't spend it all for one console either.


Given that Kaz has already talked about the limitation of the PS3, says to me he's not interested in developing another game for it. Rather build up a massive back catalogue of game data for ps4 rather than waste it on an outdated and soon to be replaced console.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they already have 150+ cars modled and a few tracks. It's not as if they've sat on their heels since GT5 was released and as modelling has become more efficient.

Hmm I can not login to my GTP-account anymore after 4.11 patch. Now It says that I would have to agree user agreement on master account but that account is lost.

Don't think it has anything to do with GT5.
Sony changed their terms and conditions, therefore you will have to agree to the new ones.
 
Can we get that Mercedes C63 Coupe Black Edition in GT5? Really liked that monster in tonight's Top Gear. :p
 
Are the servers up again, ive a start up disc error and it takes me a while to get GT5 started. Waste of time if the servers are still down.

They are online, they have only been offline on thursday.

I loved that over the top car... I reckon we'll get the Gran Turismo that was on there, as it looks identical to the original... or I might just make it myself!
 
There's supposedly a Gran Turismo Sport on the way, to be "revealed" at the Geneva Motor Show (it's been revealed that it will be revealed; although this revelation was accompanied with pictures... I suppose it's no different to a game's launch trailer being shown before the game's launch, or an announcement trailer announcing the coming of a further announcement. :dunce:)

Anyway, it's even tastier than the McStradale, in my opinion.

It looks good. It makes me wonder how these types of cars rank on PD's watchlist. We already have the GranTurismo S, which is "old". The MC Stradale is now being replaced, so I wonder if this new, sportier, faster Sport version has a chance for GT6.

Other sportier, faster cars I wonder about: Evora S, LP 570-4 Superleggera. XKR-S. Camaro ZL1. 599 GTO.
 
When can we expect news on the next DLC? I tryed doing a search but couldn't find anything on when the next DLC or 2.06 patch is supposed to be released. All I remember is that DLC seems to come out every 2 months so that means we should see the next DLC early March 2012?

I Hope Not. We Need GT6 for PS4 and a Little Bit improvment in GT5.

We Need over 500 New Premium Cars and this is unrealistic enought ... without GT Vita.

And much more.
 
No, we need GT6 for PS3 with about 300 premiums as PD can make about 50 a year.

(with say 25 upscaled missing tracks)

They can make more cars, because they increased the staff and optimized their process.

And GT6 will be released in about 3-4 years. They will bring on PS4 like it or Not. Yama complained about the PS3 Specs already. They can Add everything per DLC or Patch. They dint Need to make GT6 a PS3 Game and they have the Time to do it.
2013-2015 will be the years of the next Generation console. Sony would be Totally stupid to waste 50,000,000-70,000,000 for GT6 on PS3.

They can use the GT5 Engine and save some Time. They just make some improvments.
Dice Claimed already that the Frostbite 2 is "Next Gen ready"

All Engines nowadays are Based on Multi core and massiv Theads structure...

Upscaling will Not work on the PS4. PS2 content on PS4??? That would be a epic fail...
They will use their higher modelled Cars and integrate them in GT6 and some per DLC for GT5. The can Decrease the quality to fit it in to the PS3 Hardware.

A Developer Producer their Content in higher quality than the ps3,360 can handle.... Often :P

Some Things arent possible on ps3 and GT6 Needs huge improvments....

Like up to 64 Cars on track in Good quality for better and realistic Race Series and endurance races.
