And it's very much appreciated that they don't enforce their property rights here! 👍. In saying this, it would be a nice acknowledgement to the community on Sony's behalf if they were to the tag the photos in the stream with the users ID, given the time and effort that goes into some of these shots. :)

Thats very well done. I've always wanted to do a shot like that on Special Stage Route 7 or Madrid.

Wow, that looks pretty convincing and impressive considering the organizing aspect of it (since it's on Photo-stream I assume it isn't edited in any way).

I played with the thought of recreating a classic Le Mans start and if you include things like a Cobra or even a bumperless '54 300SL for variety along with enough of the classic Le Mans racers it might be convincing from certain angles (at least it might replicate a current classic Le Mans meet) but I can't be bothered to organize it to be honest.

Just went on GTP's sister site Forza Planet and watched an awesome vid called forza Redline Review. It's awesome and since GTP is like 100 times bigger than Forza planet, there should be a red line review for GTP!!!!!

Dunno if theres a general chat, but did anyone catch the Rally documentary on BBC tonight? Pretty cool and lots of rally cars I would love to see in GT5!

I was just pointing out some of my favourite cars from the documentary that I was surprised not to see included in the game... If it would be best suited in another thread please feel free to move it.
 
Sorry, I wasn't particularily pointing the finger - just a general comment about the lack of real news lately (though of course we have the maintenance coming up) and how that tends to lead this thread somewhat off track. Was a kind of tongue in cheek statement - didn't read that way very well though. :dunce:

Lack of competition on PS console leads to this....I wish there were another bombshell racing sim on the PS. But this is what we have been dealt. One company, making one game every 3-5 years, with little to no contact between titles.

Hopefully, some news comes soon. GT5's prime has passed, but I'd still love to see some new cars/tracks.

Thankfully, there are other consoles. However, it'd be cool if all games were available for a single console. The future is near!

PD doesn't bother with competition, so I doubt that another racing sim on the PS3 will have any affect on PD changing the course of the plans. What they want to do is what they want to do.

No worries, but if you can some how catch that documentary I highly recommend it, those Group B rally cars were brutal!
 
If you can't catch it, this may be an adequate substitute, although I've watched neither in their entirety myself.

Let's hope so, but then remember the difficulties Japan has had, or will have soon. With so much of Japan's power coming from nuclear power, which has been affected by the earthquakes, progress may be very slow or could even stop temporarily in the near future.
