1. Handbrake. In GT5P, does the handbrake still take a milennium to swing the tail out?![]()
2. Power-over... same thing, really. I play on GT4 loads, and on a BMW M5, with road tires and no aids, you should be able to get the back out no problem. But it's real hard. How has power-over and car rotation been improved in GT5P?
But the clutch is a on and off button, you cant ride the clutch. I hope the final game is a bit different, and we should be able to stall the car!
GT5P handbrake is realistic now, nothing like GT4's
Hmm... I had been thinking about... a certain month...This: http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Driving/Racing/~r342247/Gran-Turismo-5/?s=gran turismo 5 has to mean something. Game.co.uk has never put out a release date that's not officially provided by the publisher.
It's more realistic, I wouldn't say it's particularly great. It's more a problem with the physics, and its particularly noticeable at low speeds (probably because that's where GT's physics breaks down.
Hmm... I had been thinking about... a certain month...This would frost a particular competitor if this bears true.
I bet we are the only 2 people who really think it could be September 25.
And im usually a sceptical and pessimistic person.

GamesCom Cologne in August says "hallo". 8)
1 Question people:
When we start a new game in GT4 (Carrer Mode) if you have a GT4P save, you start a GT4 new game with 10.000cr and A and B licence, do you think this situation will also happen with the GT5P save game in GT5?
💡
Even if they do announce it there(I doubt it), 1 month wouldn't be nearly enough time for a September 25th release. You need at least 4 months for a good marketing campaign.
GT has such a large fan base that even if they did not announce a release date and they just put it out there today online and in stores. You would get such a massive reaction from the fan base even just in GTplanet that it would spread like a wild fire and you would have everybody rush to the stores or online buying it right away.
Hell you can see how just rumors spread so fast in online forums that they would not need to spend a dime on marketing GT5 everybody just wants it yesterday.

I can tell you right now that if it was released without an announcement nobody would know it is out.[duh]
You could also say that Sony didn't need to market the PS3, however you could blame the lack of marketing to it's slow start. Now after a couple years they are finally gaining their momentum.
This same thing will happen if they don't market GT5. Yes there is a large fanbase that would buy it in a second, but there is a larger amount of "average joe's" who don't frequent sites like this but will still get the game.
They wouldn't need to be in this site. They would just find it somewhere else. It would be on the PS Network site, EB Games, Gamestop, Amazon, etc.. Ebay it would be reviewed by all the gaming magazines, TV Cable Game Channels. You would have to live in a cave not to see it advertised in Sale ad inserts in the sunday papers. I mean everywhere....dude All they need is a press release. " Like Wildfire!!!!"
You said it wouldn't need marketing, all those things are marketing.
That would be done by other companies not Sony. When a game magazine reviews a game Sony dosen't have to pay them to review it. When a store dose a sale ad to sell the game sony dose not pay them to put it in their sale ads, when people try to sell it on ebay, Amazon...etc does sony have to pay them? No.
When we say Sony has to market it. Then Sony has to pay for marketing ads like putting it on TV comercials buying ad space in a magazine. Holding big events to promote it. They can do all that if they wanted to. But the point I was making was they could get away with not doing that and just let the product market it's self for free by the examples I gave.
The only thing is though is magazines/websites would get the game early. This would require Sony to give them a pre-release copy. This would be counted as marketing.
Also, Sony will have to do marketing, the ipod is more popular than any GT and it still has to be marketed.
