I think it has to do with the shape and line of the car. A car with harder, more defined edges like the Enzo would look better in white than a more rounded, softer edged car like the Audi R8- which doesn't look that bad in white but pale in comparison, no pun intended, to a darker painted one.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. The white R8 looks way better than the black in my opinion and that right there is the most important thing. It's my own opinion.
Not everybody is going to like a certain car in one particular colour. It's just personal preference...

@ 1.42 seconds in this clip when the Lambo overtakes the Enzo and you go to onboard view,I thought GREAT,the driver gives a "thumbs up" to the guy in the Enzo...But than i realised he whas shifting up ....looool...Really wierd animation if you ask me,hope they change this a bit when final product comes out ....sometime...👎

I agree with you. The shifting animation is crap.
But I dont see them fixing it...
 
Regarding my music comment, I was pretty much joking for the most part as I already understand why he's putting the music on there....guess it didn't come off that way...

look at 1.40 in the vid
this shifting doesnt look normal i think i mean he move the hand than just on finger !?!?
at 0.55 you can cleraly see him shifting an this looks normal

At 0.55 there are no paddles on the steering wheel so I dont know what the driver's doing.
At 1.40 you see the real paddles that don't follow the movement of the wheel, though the whole animation is at least odd...

I agree, the white one looks far better, but it is just my opinion. I love the contrast of the black grille and accent pieces, works even better in the R8 than it does in the Golf GTI.

Don't get me wrong, I'd have no problem taking a black R8 if that's all they had in the world, still looks fantastic, but white all the way for me.

"real" Ferrari's are single seat, open cockpit, and just about the fastest things on four wheels for their time. By that I mean the formula 1 cars. The road car program was there purely to fund the race car program. In that sense the purest ferrari is the racing one.

Of course, in my eyes, any ferrari is a real ferrari, no matter where the engine is or how many seats it has.

Well, quite. Hence the quotes. The front engined GTs have always been my favourite, and then I stumbled upon a quote from somebody; apparently Enzo also believed that a true "Ferrari" (road-car?) was front-engined, and had a V12.

That's why they were named for their engines, and the V6 Ferraris were Dinos (irrespective of how much influence / input Ferrari Jnr. may or may not have had on that engine's development.)

You could also say that a real Ferrari need not be an actual "Ferrari" - given that he started racing Alfa Romeos...

Each to their own, of course ;)

I need not say so, but you're welcome to post in whatever way you choose, but you did not come off so caustic as some I've seen. All I intended was to point out to the forum at large what may yet have been only speculated or missed entirely. No worries. Sorry to single you out.

Don't really care what constitutes a "real" Ferrari, it's just an endless discussion like what makes a car a sportscar, in my opinion these are some of the coolest Ferrari's though, both by Pininfarina, the 4-door Pinin and the 456GT stationwagon.:)

Well in this case, it really isn't a 'real' ferrari, as I believe its had extensive aftermarket modification. :p

Non the less, I love that vehicle, and I would certainly take that over the Porsche estate car. :sick:

No, it isn't an aftermarket modification, it was build and designed by the same people ( at Pininfarina ) who did the original as a limited run to ( extremely rich ) customers demanding a real Ferrari stationwagon.
No ordinary custom job or outside coachbuilders, but the original Carrozzeria.

( As i already mentioned...........)

Same studio which also gave us this beauty, the 500 Superfast ( please let it be in GT5 ).

This is Jay Kays Enzo. After some Toyota Supra owner smashed the side window (see the glass on the floor) and the windscreen after Jay Kay was saying how much better the Enzo was over the Supra... The Supra owner didnt agree!

For me Enzo is...like...OMG Spaceship! :) I mean like almost none relation to Ferrari :)
Anyway i'm dying to see Enzo and McLaren F1 cockpit!!!

That's awful! Who in their right mind buys and drives such a car? Let's hope it's the same car, because else... brrr...

Check your eyes dude...

The Enzo is not meant to be beautiful, it was designed to generate downforce and a little front area, it's more an engineering piece of art, than styling exercise. ;)
