Heres a translation. Dont think it really tells us anything though.

Range delivers his opinion to you:
“After a version Prologue in 2008 acting as first impression, Polyphony DIGITAL leaves finally Gran Turismo 5, celebrates it simulator of control on circuits adulated by million fans. And it is only on PlayStation 3 that that occurs.
Graphics still continued to evolve/move and the engine of the play is able to post an image in Full HD (1080p) and this without any deceleration: a true technological prowess! And the resolution is not there that to make good impression, the image is really splendid.
The cars are modelled until in depth. It should be said that Polyphony DIGITAL worked narrowly with each manufacturer so that the models 3D correspond exactly to the design of the real models. The circuits, the landscapes and the effects of lightings were also extremely neat and the public reacts from now on dynamically. Lastly, certain vehicles now support the management of the damage in real time. As always, the entirety of the wheels compatible with the PS2 and the PS3 remain it with this new title.
On the plan of the gameplay, the weather is from now on evolutionary, and it can start to rain in full race, asking the pilot to react in a suitable way under penalty of finding itself in the decoration in a few moments. Certain races also proceed night.
Option obligatory and quite present, Gran Turismo 5 of course proposes a multijoueurs mode making it possible to clash on the tarmac on line to 16 pilots. A sight cockpit is also of the part in order to offer even more realism in simulation.
With the program of the cars available, it is as usual possible to choose among hundreds of models and Ferrari answers well the call as in the Prologue. It is thus possible to drive the red cars most famous of the world like splendid F430. One of course finds other racing cars of races which make dream like Nissan 350Z or the models of Honda, Aston Martin or Porsche.
And let us not forget that Gran Turismo also profits from new prestigious licences, WRC and Nascar. With you insane races of rally on official tracks and pile-up on the typically American rings.
In short, of the pure pleasure for all the amateurs of realistic sets of races or for all those which wish to have a virtual outline of control on circuit. To test associated with a wheel! “

It's the ZR1, not Z06. Z06 is already confirmed in GT5P anyway.

Peeps new shots of a blue and bronze Corvette possibly Z06 from what is obviously GT5 although it's in the GTPSP preview. There is also a shot of a menu there, might be from GT5 i don't know.

Here are the screenshots, for quick reference.

ineed, they look more like GT5 shots to me o_0

The car models does look like they are from GT5 but the tracks look like they are from GT4...
I mean, here is an example, the road textures are realy low (which is not the case in GT5P, they are great there)...
This is clearly picture of old Nurb track from GT4, if they do it for GT5 like that I will be really disappointed:

I noticed the discrepancy too. It leaves me wondering what exactly these are screenshots of.

That might be Midfield in reverse, the car seems to be on the penultimate bend before the start/finish straight.

Indeed, thats not GT5 track quality, these pics were shown as PSP GT pics but the car quality is clearly high for PSP, unusual. The NY track pic appears to be more GT5 based. Maybe they're keeping the genuine GT5 version of Nurburgring under wraps for the moment, we only hope.

I think this is just a sneak preview of gt5 ;) (except the low quality track)

In that latter video there, at the end of the gameplay the tyres sounded like a zip getting zipped up very quickly.Maybe i need a hearing aid.

oh boy, almost certain 2009 release, check the latest article!
THANK YOU JORDAN :D

In case the versions above are not big enough for you, another guy found even higher resolution versions (click for original version):

They can also be found at an even higher resolution (3840 x 2160) with the comment: Gran Turismo PSP Cover Revealed

These have been posted by playstation.blog and belong the the unveiling of the GT cover.

The first two are new york, the third is El Capitain, the fouth is the ring.

I am equally curious, the cars look GT5 standard yet the tracks look GT4 and thus PSP version, I have to wonder what on earth is the deal with that.

Yes, those pics aren't pure PSP, maybe part of interconnection with GT5?

Anyway, let me share with you a video parody about GT5 development time:
http://www.gamesajare.com/2.0/redes-ajares-ii-gt5/

I'm afraid it's in Spanish, but the final part, about minute eight, no needs translation and is about tires' sound, just listen :)

Awesome video! Thanx for posting the link.

If anyone of you do not speak Spanish here you have a good reason to start learning.

Yeah, those are definitely not GT5 pics. Jaggies on the track and the textures for the road and background are very low resolution.

Probably just promotional shotties using GTPSP assets with rendered cars.

And before someone mentions it, just because the lights at the back of the Corvette aren't very smooth, doesn't mean it hasn't been rendered.

Hopefully in a week or so, we will know alot more of what GT5 will look like!

Guys I've got a question: Will all cars have damage? Seeing A couple of posts earlier in this thread one of them said certain cars will feature damage or something along them lines. Is it true? :nervous: starting to get a bit worried :scared:

That's just hearsay. No one knows any details about damage in GT5.

You are my new heroes! Er... hero? Wait a minute...

I feel like a little kid waiting for this game. The last game that made me feel like this was MGS4.

GT5 is going to contribute heavily to my future nostalgia :P

GT5 is so close to us I can almost taste it.

Hopefully at GamesCom Cologne, we'll get some information on the game. All I want to know is that Lamborghini and Bugatti are licensed. And some other cars that have been absent from the GT series. Also, hoping for damage on everything and every race.

They pretty much have all the race cars i like, from GT4 and GT5P. I just hope they have the sound right this time!!!

I really doubt damage will be there now since there isn't much time left IF the release date is confirmed.

Keen observation. So what did you think of the trailer?
