All the Europeans complain they always get shafted... you guys have it far worse. America gets off easy. I have the last 2 years of the Bathurst 1000 saved on my computer. Such a shame so few people know about it.

Well you got 2 brands in GT4 ( and probably in GT5 ), I'm from a small largely man-made country with a population of 16 million and only got one brand.
What about the Russian, Indian ( if you don't count in Jaguar or Land-Rover ) or Chinese ( minus Volvo ) population?, they've got none ( by which I mean cars historically linked to their culture, not recent take-overs ) so it isn't a numbers game.
Australian car culture might be arguably perceived to be more interesting than the nations mentioned above ( at least I acknowledge it to be ) but I would really like some old ( or new ) Russian cars as well ( I know I must be a very small minority but still ).:)
 
GT5 Beta tour on the road in the US, Wilmington NC

So i have the GS manager call me up last week,tells me a seceret.GT5 beta is comming.I figured it was B.S, sure enough though as I was taking one of the bengals(cat not lion) to the vet for his booster shot I saw this little ditty.Almost had a accident(in my shorts).Had to flip a u-turn as the first photo was of the wrong part of the truck go figure so hit the next button to get the view of the Gran Turismo toatle race simulator print on the trailor.Picture kinda sucks due to the phone and the sun.

I'd say nah , this is not a GT logo as we know it. More like a racing team truck or something.
 
What fan of GT would actually believe they'd change their logo to some amateur looking thing for just this?

I for one have never heard of a Bengal Lion; I would question his credibility on that basis alone!

This would be assuming we have a standalone NASCAR series.

Not knowing how they will do the GT Mode and how it will incorporate NASCAR any guesses as to how that will affect things like track inclusions risk being way off. Even more room for error is included when you begin to assume what is meant by location.

Does that mean when it's colder, my turbo engines will run better?

Kinda funny that he says "20 scenery, 70 tracks", and then later refers to snow and rain specifically as "scenery", as well.

Time to spread a new rumour... 20 different weather effects! Now called "scenery"!
 
I'm gonna put skis on my wheels and go down the mountain scenery. :dunce:

That's a weird link man. Go to their facebook page and then lose yourself in all the friends of friends, every one of them seems fake... The Testimonials seem fake. It all does for some reason. I think it has something to do with the game, like an easter egg. An expensive one.

Somebody just needs to call them and find out.

...Weather does influence car performance. You will never be able to drive more quickly in the wet than you can in the dry.

rain in photo mode would not effect performance...
 
20 locations/environments/scenery or whatever word they use is still photo mode location IMO.
You don't use the word location/evironments for tracks, but it makes sense for the Photo mode areas
