^Uh, I'm sure it's just Ahrweiler (from prologue menu). See the reflection of the stonewall on the windshield?

The houses in the background gave it away.

Ok let's share the cookie...but I want 51% of it:sly:👍

I agree, it was quite hard to find non Japanese cars at the used car dealers in GT4.

:ouch:

I have played GT5p as well as GT2, GT3 and GT4 and I'm more than aware of the huge amount of Japanese cars in those games. Sure PD is based in a Japan, I just don't want to see the bias towards those cars as in previous games.

:ouch:

To answer both of you at the same time, and many more out there thinking the same way:

Have you ever thought maybe that :
1) it was easier for PD/Kaz to work on cars from their own turf first, being familiar with them and having direct access to them. (especially "used" old cars)
2) Could it also be the fact that, back then, (Before GT5-P), all car manufacturers from the western countries were dubious and reluctant, non-believers in a video games, doubting that a pity game developer could "correctly" represent their product with the same amount of ego they put into making cars??
Who would have known back then that Sensei Kaz is crazier than any of them, about cars...

Last but not Least
3) Probably a license thing and also the cost for Kaz to incorporate cars in their game... Nowadays, it's probably the inversed... Car manufacturers would pay just to have their car be In the game!

I dont know, do you know?? Instead of blaming it on Kaz / PD...
just enjoy it...

In Kaz i trust :P

Having said that, me and religion, we dont mix well... so i still keep some skepticism no matter what... whether for or against Kaz...

reality is never really how you see it, until you learn more information...

So Chill ;)

Keep the cookies, I take the cake.

Back to topic: Like I said, I'm really glad that we will get Prologues locations back, I found some of them really awesome and it would be a pity if they don't use them all for GT5 too.

Soooooo so so hyped for GT5, ima sponge ready to soak up every little detail of GT5 to add to my excitement!

No it's the regular Miura, I know it's hard to tell them apart because they are frankly basically the same, one being the prototype and the other the production version.

I was hoping it was the P400SV but it had wider tires, so the rims had a deep dish effect, these rims are from the P400S or earlier. Definitely production model, as you mentioned the wipers give it away, and we can only be 100% sure because we know PD have their own class of OCD.

...

Also, the fact that it's these cars that Kaz grew up with in Japan, as a child seeing the Honda RSC and Hakosukas then as a teenager seeing the Hachi-Rokus, RX7s GTRs, I can imagine he's BEEN wanting to see these as he saw them in his mind many years ago, everyone is patriotic, being in the heartland of JDM gives PD the access to give us a TON of amazingly detailed Japanese motors.

Frankly i'd rather have it like we do, rather than compromise and have more cars of less quality, just for the sake of seeing your little wonky AMC Gremlin or Lada or something.

Something I have just thought of..
When we first saw the Toyota FT-86 G Sports concept trailer many people thought the tire smoke was pre-renderred..
[YOUTUBEHD]OUSwFqTF0Vs[/YOUTUBEHD]

But from the new demos it clearly was just the new tire smoke system that PD made :sly:

Just thought I'd say since nothing is really comig out of Gamescom atm.

Yep,do you prefigure a night races on the Nurburing with the rain??💡
wowww,it will be EPIC:eek:

GTPlantet's Twitter mentioned someone getting a juicy email and to prepare for tomorrow. I smell LOTS of awesomeness in the morning.

This is how I feel right now:

very mixed emotions...

Well it has to be weather or Track Editor. Kaz said weather was in development but he was unsure whether to keep it in. And I know for a fact that the track editor is also developed and has been planned to be in for quite some time.

I mean I couldn't think of anything better than weather.

I think the "eyelashes" around the headlights are a much easier giveaway that it's not the 400sv. Tires can be tricky with GT5 since we don't know whether they are original to the car or not.

Seriously I'd bet money on weather (plus day and night cycles, 16 cars, damage, physics etc..). How else could you explain the flat trees and lack of skidmarks? All the resources must go somewhere else...

I literally screamed like a school girl when I saw the picture of the Miura. My dad came rushing to my room and the expression on his face was priceless.
