I'm personally hoping that some of the cars in the Gamescom demo are standard so the debate of cockpit views can be put to rest. I also believe that the damage system might be the best out of any current console racing games, they are yet to show their hand (No public demo with rollover shown yet, shows they are restricting demo builds quite heavily). I wouldn't be suprised if they have standard tracks too as well as premium tracks. Maybe that's why they kept showing the old GT4 Nurburgring upscaled, to see what us the fans think of the quality of the track.
About the updates. With karting confirmed, I wonder if they will start also releasing force feedback pedals. Skidmarks look quite realistic and not overly dark.

The skidmarks were a surprise for me. One thing I'm not completly sold on is the karting. I know that many people have requested it, but I have a hard time imagining how that would play out in GT5.

You can see that the 2002 one is on there so, it may well be premium but it has a good chance of being standard. One of the other Esprit could be premium instead or all could be standard. We'll find out soon.
So, at this point, the only things the other series has that GT does not are a livery editor and rewind (the latter is irrelevant), correct, or am I missing something? Excepting specific tracks and cars, of course.
Could have just been an AI car that was not selectable. Anyway, we will find out today for certain depending on if the demo is inspected by the GTPlanet team thoroughly.
