I'm not with the crowd of hating on the stealth cars. They look proper to me. Nothing like bare carbon fiber to know you've got something serious on your hands. Unless you guys don't know the benefits of carbon fiber I can't see why you'd not like the stealth cars. To me they seem like GT5's version of the 'Black special' race cars that were in the used car lot on certain days in GT4. I'll definitely see if I can get my hands on all of the stealth cars. I hope that replacing body panels with carbon fiber ones turns out to look exactly like those.

I don't really care about the stealth cars, and I am getting all of them anyway.

That's coo, I like it rough.

Thats what she said :sly:

I'd imagine the online system to be alot more refined and in depth than Prologues. Private maybe semi-private lobbies and races.(certain number of A-spec points or something)

Well, there is also the possibility of having a Password protected room or an invitation-only. Always liked having having those options with online racing, though I usually prefer invitation just because its abit simpler and quicker.

Who knows if they will support "teams"(kinda tough when you cant have your own color schemes\badges\logo) or if they will just be a really good effort in coordination.

Guess the only way you could actually have a team per se is if you got the same race car with same livery but different numbers (like with the Audi R8 and the Pescarolo C60).

gtp doesn't surport the clutch pedal. thats all i play with the g27. I was going to ask that. hopefully gt5 has it

1600 hours or so left. :scared:

I just wish the stealth cars had a GT logo on them, not the number white square

This probably only applies on the Signature edition, but I believe those blank white spots have something to do with some competition as the pack also came with some sort of key card for entry.

The entry card is for the SLS AMG competition. The stealth cars are pre-order bonuses for all the versions of the game. I'm not sure one has anything to do with the other.
People have speculated that the white spaces were to put your number in the livery editor, but since the livery editor is pretty much not happening, maybe the spaces will be filled by the time the game ships..

In Tourist Trophy we could choose a racing number to put ito those blank squares.

You mean GT5P? Press triangle (top button on shifter unit) when the race starts to enable it.

*edit: as Melfice7 said.

Just because we don't get a livery editor doesn't mean we wont get a number plate editor.

It's called bonnet view if you ask me, and I'm extremely glad they put it in so I can use it on Standard Cars.:scared:

Gezim - Burburgring vid:

see this is what im saying, the dude spins off the course twoce and is still able to catch the back marker, like the backmarker is driving backwards or something and in the 1min 50 to 2 min mark.. does this car have nitro compared to the rest of the cars or something?

Anybody hear this? ''F1 2010 Graphics Surpasses Gran Turismo 5'' Read the rest of the article here.

Hard to tell from the video they had there. Need to have some full resolution screencaptures or to see them side by side on a Full HD screen.

Meh, it's easier to focus on graphics when all F1 cars look very similar, not to mention they have a fraction of work to do.

Just watched the video. Didn't look fantastic. Rain effects on screen didn't change one bit.

F1 Championship Edition for PS3 (which came out 07) has better water effect IMO.

I blew it up to 720p and full screen.

The wet track looks okay - though we haven't seen a wet track in GT5 yet to compare - but everything else is decidedly squiffy. Detail inside the cockpit is meh (but at least it's on all 24 cars oneoneonelol) and anything more than 6 feet away from the track is a 2D pane. Also, and it might be my imagination, the front wheels seem far too inboard - the inside edges are practically rubbing on the nose.

It looks like Grid.

It looks like a mix of Grid and NFS Shift. 👎

Indeed - which is to say it looks pretty good.

"Better than GT5" is overplaying it on the behalf of that blog. Probably for traffic purposes.

Not better than GT5 but you have to admit F1 2010 is visually stunning. It looks great to me. I wonder what GT5 will look like with rain
