Mods should look superb ths time. Titanium mufler, carbon disc brakes, carbon parts!
I think the CES TVR is what we will get by upgrading a stock car.

I think the CES TVR is what we get after we do the R modification to a stock TVR.
Having said that, I would be ecstatic if you're right and I'm wrong. I would like nothing more than to be wrong this time..

One month and we should know( hope you're wrong though;) )

Is anyone else... completely unexcited by the stealth concepts?
I think they look really nice, especially when lit properly, unlike the early promo images where they looked a bit dull. I also like all of them as normal cars too, unlike the ChromeLine where I only like three of the five anyway.

How do you guys think the chat will work in a 32 man lobby.
I'm hoping for a party system where groups can have private chat within the main lobby.
Would be good for teams, endurance, discussing tatics etc.

Similar to another console that I'll not mention here.
(My flame proof suit is at the cleaners).

he also said while doing the WRC stage, the force feedback was strong enough to almost rip his hands off the wheel.

That's coo, I like it rough. Although WRC cars have power steering so it should be THAT strong right?

I'd imagine the online system to be alot more refined and in depth than Prologues. Private maybe semi-private lobbies and races.(certain number of A-spec points or something)

Who knows if they will support "teams"(kinda tough when you cant have your own color schemes\badges\logo) or if they will just be a really good effort in coordination.

I dunno. Having never participated in a dirt/gravel rally, I can't say. Though it makes sense that driving excessively on gravel would put a hurting on your forearms.

A legitimate advantage of the Xbox 360 is counted as flaming? Really?

Ok, sure :)

I personally think the tuned TVR we saw is not a result of race modification. Race modifications in GT1 and 2 included a race livery. They said it was more for cars that we expected to have liveries. So I presume we can modify a Ford GT, and have included the old Gulf GT40 livery, or have an Impreza/Evo with their respective WRC livery.

Though those particular examples would be redundant, seeing as both the original livery cars will be in the game anyway. But I think you see what i'm getting at.

I've been looking at the videos of the cockpit displays when racing, and I was wondering...

Would it be beneficial to have the steering wheel placed to one side, like the virtual steering wheel? Would it give you a better feel for the car you are driving?

Ivhavecmine central to the tv.
Never tried offsetting it.
Using a pad sat on the sofa I'm almost 90degrees to it.
If a had my wheel the same angle as my sofa I'd be knackered lol.

depends on the size of your tv I suppose.

I have a 24inch monitor directly in front of my DFP, so I am wondering if it will work, I may try offsetting the wheel on GT5P to see. 👍

Oops I didnt see my typo I meant Shouldn't be THAT strong, since they have Power Steering. Judging by onboards (whatever that means) they do have a rather gentle touch to it.

Well not really, because the driving postion in cockpit view is centered on what your driving position would be anyway.

And for the other views (Bumper, Chase, perhaps roof and bonnet too) are all centered, so having you wheel offset wouldn't really be ideal.

Maybe it would add a more realistic feel if you had a 3-screen setup with an offset bonnet cam, but if it's single screen, or centered, then it wouldn't work in my opinion.

Form some of the Videos I've seen, the steering wheel looks slightly off center, and from my recollections of GT5P, it felt that way too, maybe I need to have a good look at it. 👍

GT5 deserves all the achievements of Best of Gamescom and Best Console Game awarded by Polyphony Digital and Sony. I can't wait for GT5...I love how much content the GT series comes with and GT5 looks like its gonna be loaded to bear. I pre-ordered GT5 so I can't wait for it to come out well I think all the sacrifices that made me not buying warcraft gold for a month just to save and have this will be all worth it, but I’m sure it do!

How about the racing mufflers? I dont think they changed appearance when changed in past GTs

No they didn't. I'm beginning to wonder if it will change in GT5. I'm thinking like 51% to 49% that they won't unless you do a whole regular to race mod on the entire car then it might. IMO

Has anyone know if the G25 and G27 will have full support for GT5? This is the only thing and the modification appearance that worries me about GT5.

Guy's I put it on YT

Seems like the high pitched tones are being clipped giving you the impression of grumbly rumbly sounds. Just like a Super GT video on Fuji a while back the sounds were just being clipped by the microphone recording but they don't sound like that.

Compare the kart sounds in that video compared to the offical kart trailer to see what I mean.

Fully supported? (which includes specific options for that wheel), probably not.... as it's not a offical GT wheel, but it will work just fine including the LED rev lights etc. My only concern is if PD will allow the clutch to function. It works in GT5P but was disabled in GT5 TT (for good reason) but I do really really hope it returns for GT5.
