GT5 coverage from Gamescom from ISR.

Among the many things I heard I'm relieved that extensive car history descriptions will still be in GT5. Now the question is: will they be displayed as a page or more of text, GT1-style (great), or as a sliding text line like in GT4 (annoying) ?

Congratulations! But, what did you have to do?

I just kept refreshing Subways twitter page ( https://twitter.com/subwayfreshbuzz ) until the URL to the Fire Drill popped up. I clicked the link and entered my email. That's it.

On 9/7 they're going to be giving another chance to win GT5. This time it'll be in a package with LBP2 and Modnation Racers. They'll have 50 packages (there were 75 for the GT5 only contest). So people here should try to enter because it does work.

Back in my day, we used to have to walk 17 miles in the pouring snow to buy a videogame. Now you lil' rascals you, you get it by clicking a button on your little computer nintendo box?:dunce::sly:

i created a twitter just for this.i kept refreshing too and as soon as i clicked it they said i was too late, didnt even get a chance to enter a thing. i guess my new mac is too slow or something,

Anyone else notice that the AI in the Nascar part of GT seems very smart and skilled. And famine mentioned that he couldn't go past third gear after a heavy crash. so overall impressive damage and AI 👍

Congrats, SolidSnakex!
It let me enter my address but it said I was too late after I pressed enter. Ugh!
The same thing happened to me - I saw the email form, but was given the bad news after I hit enter. We must have been just a few fractions of a second off.

I just keep wondering how many weeks they have left to finish the game.

I mean, it's nearly September 1.

I'm guessing about 4-5 at the most.

I can't do R2 and L2 as gas/brake. I just don't like this new trend at all, where most driving games use that configuration.

I used to use the right analog stick for accelerate / brake. However, I changed to R2 / L2 as it offers slightly more precision and allows me to use brake and accelerate together - I fancied it might be quicker. With the analog stick, there will be some delay in getting back on the accelerator after braking.

btw, great Sim Racing video. I though Andreas, Famine and Venari represented GT Planet brilliantly. Famine: don't many of us hate the sound of our own voices on cam? Sounded alright to me (but then I'm familiar with Brit accents) :)

Yepp,it's definitely a great clarification!so we will have 70tracks, hopefully all off them premium!

Am I the only one that still uses the original control scheme?
Directional pad - steering
X - gas
Square - brake
Circle - hand brake
Triangle - reverse
R2 - shift up
L2 - shift down
R1 - change view
L1 - look back
Select - ghost car on/off

I do dislike how my own voice sounds, yes, but I've heard it back a few times and I've never sounded like that

And yes, I went for the languid, relaxed approach. Mainly because had I been sitting forwards, my shorts would have given the internets full view of the Famine Family Jewels. Plus I can't bend my knee too well to 90 degrees (which was one reason for wearing the shorts - I've got an upcoming MRI on my kneecap).

I'm startled to listen back to myself and find I sound like I know what I'm talking about...

You're wearing shorts, I thought you were from Yorkshire? Get yourself some proper Northern trousers and boots man!!:D

I'm half Welsh too.

And often accused of being American, oddly. Even by Americans...

I thought you wanted to show off your sexy legs.

I knew Jessica Lopez would be reviewing it before it aired.

My MX-3 has an Y Ddraig Goch stuck on the back, you know. As if my surname wasn't the biggest giveaway in the video
