Regardless of everything seen is clear that what you see in this picture does not look like a standard, right?

This picture is a rendered PSP promotion shot.Would have loved to see the interior of that.Dissapointing but atleast we have a release date.

Still doesn't explain how the F40 is now a standard, when it was a premium in GT5P.

The list(s?) aren't correct.

Because most people love GT for what it is, a race game with normal cars. And not some sort of supercar challange, if you ask me adding ferrari, lambo and other supercars was the biggest mistake PD ever made.

Don't dare to say that again. you're talking about history.

Here are you are proofs :

Tracks list:

God, I have a gut feeling that Sony is gonna use DLC to milk us for every dollar we got. :nervous:

I agree. But for extra tracks and cars, I will gladly cough up money for this. Online is so huge now that its very easily to do DLC. PD just has to give us the content. Regardless of what people say Kaz said, there will be DLC. That's easy money for Sony. For the time and resources that PD would have to put into DLC, I would pay 9.99 for track or 4.99 for a car that I wanted. Even better if they released package deals of cars and/or tracks. Example. 5 cars=12.99, 3 tracks=12.99 or 5 cars + 3 tracks = 19.99. Either way if its something we wanted as DLC, we'd pay.

Just thought I'd post this, I called my gamestop just out of curiosity to see what they were doing for gran turismo now that the date has changed. I was like hey I've got a quick question, I preordered the CE of GT5 and I was wondering if you guys were doing a midnight release on the 23rd since its release is the 24th of november, she was like umm... I've heard nothing about that? I said well both the GAMESTOP site have been updated to the 24th, and the official GT5 site says the 24th, shes like umm... we still have a street date of 1/1/11? I said well... it's been changed. She's like "well I haven't received any info on it"

That just made me chuckle a little bit, if one gamestop is doing a midnight release (from what someone said in the other post) then I'd be sure they'd all be doing it, right?

Actually I'm quite worried that no stores are doing midnight launches for the simple fact that they couldn't really plan ahead as Sony decided to announce the date less then 2 weeks in advance. They are real ass holes for that.

To all people talking about DLC, Kaz has already stated that there won't be any.

I hope though he reconsiders.

Kaz has stated so many things, that many car fans has become very confused, "build it, customize it, drive it" yeah sure. like i want to drive a 1000 hp supra or camaro with standard 17 inch wheels and no visual customization what so ever. And hey even more fun, you cant experience these beautiful cars interior, because the standard cars are just upscaled cars from gt4, just soPD can brag about their 1031 cars. But wait, only 200 have visual uppgrades and interior, and many iconic cars arnt even premium, jippie. Congratiulation Kaz you just dissapointed some vital customers.

My store is its about the pre orders that what my GameStop told me.

Beyron... Standard?

NOT!

This may not be standard, this is premium.

Something's wrong with the list of cars and circuits.

What do you think?

It's time to face the truth.

There, there...

The list appears to be written rather hastily, for example it lists a 2010 Jaguar XFR ( the 'M5 competitor' saloon, not the coupe ), which is another new addition to the series by the way, as Standard too which might be another mistake.

Overall though, with GT5 less than 2 weeks away I expected to feel extremely excited but with the new info I just feel meh...
Could explain in detail why but just don't feel like it today, ah well less than 2 weeks is something positive at least.

By the way, does anyone know what the costs of catering for roughly 150 people on a daily basis over a 6 year long period in Tokyo would be?;)

May I direct your attention to a previous post...

I have had that page open for a good 45 minutes, it said F40 '94 Standard, I just refreshed it and it had changed to F40 '92 Premium. It must have been a mistake and they changed it.

They have it changed to Premium now, must have just been a mistake.

Could it be that some standard cars have interior, because they brought them over from gt5p, but didnt want to make them full premiums? I mean anything is possible as we can se....

Does anyone remember if they published the complete list of all the circuits of GT4 when the game was released or they concealed things like la Sarthe?

So we all are pretty positive that there will be far more tracks and cars to come as DLC.👍 Reasons? Maybe they haven't finished remodeling tracks/cars. Maybe it all couldn't fit on one BR disc? Hmm.

No, why would we be? They're already working on GT6, there's no reason to think there will be GT5 DLC unless they did exactly what Kaz said they wouldn't do, and held back some content just to sell it as DLC.

They have it changed to Premium now, must have just been a mistake.

Hence why I said, the lists that are on the front page, are not correct.

They're updating the actual GT site, but GTP has the old list. Who knows what else they got wrong, chances are we'll see quite a few more changes over the day.

I thought they attended SEMA this year so they should have alot of inspiration for future DLC or GT6 such as this beast

That will probably be in a Forza game before a GT game, but that is the kinda of stuff I'd like to see. Stuff we dream about owning!!

Bah...the Forza vs. GT discussion again. Look, no one game is perfect. There are things that GT does better than Forza and vice versa.

Things that GT focuses on: More daily driver car choice, weather & day/night cycle etc.

Things that Forza focuses on: More supercar choices, livery editor, auction house etc.

Whichever floats your boat more, go pick it up. But you don't need to bash the other game as each game has its strong and weak points.

Regrading DLC, the term DLC refers to paid for downloaded content. KY may well want no DLC for GT5, but we still may get updates ala GT5P.

ok 24 is the GT5 release day!
but the question is....
When they release GT5?
sorry habit :D

anyone starting a post "When gt6 will be released?" ?

We people like in the europe like to bash things, like bashing a box of gt5 discs in the fire. *sarcasm*
