:rolllllleyesss:

Karts are to F1 what Youth Teams are to 1st Division football(world football) teams, an introduction into major leagues. Senna, Lauda, Schumi, Makkinnen , Salonnen they all drove karts, they were all great drivers, they all started somewhere.
"Makkinnen" and "Salonnen"? :grumpy:

Concerning that list I upgraded, I'd like to put it on the 1st post but I already sent a couple of messges to the359 but I didn't answer. And I don't wanna do anything without his approval since it's his list I used in the first place and he's the Car List Master.

So that's it, but I'll still be updating my post and you can still check it by cliking the link in my sig ;)

BTW : I think the blue car in the pic couple pages back is a new Renault Megane Coupe. Check the window profile. It's not a Mazda 3 since the profile is straight.
My 2 cents on the Renault Megane Coupe or the Peugeot 207 GTi 👍

I'd go with 207 myself. :D

Hurrah. I've been stalking these forums like a ninja for months waiting for news on Renault to see if the Laguna Coupe GT has made it in. Finally a faint whiff of Renault news.

Random observation: The videos say that the old 500 is a 1968 F, but the model has Nuova 500 written on the rear. However, it does not have rear-hinged doors, as a "Nuova 500" should:

Mistake on PD's part?

The first versions of the old Nuova 500 ( meaning "new 500" as the first one was the 500 "Topolino" which was build from 1936 until 1955 ) had rear-hinged doors but they were replaced by front-hinged doors on later versions.:)

Wouldn't be the first time. There were quite many errors like this in GT4.

Check out the Volvo C30 as well. It's right hand drive, as if it was made in Japan, Great Britain or Australia, while it's made in Sweden, and we've never made RHD cars.

Can I live with these things? Yes, but it's still funny how PD which you'd think does tons and tons of research, make mistakes like this.

They do make RHD C30s. Not sure about the C30R but the C30 comes in RHD. Where the car is made isn't the only factor where the steering wheel goes.
nevermind, someone said same thing

Are you mad at the spelling? Finn names confuzzle me!
Corrections: Mäkinen and Salonen, respectively.

They did drive karts, I didn't mean to say they are F1 drivers of course they aren't, they are rally masters!

You just made me think of the possibility that the "GT Life" mode will start with karting... Hmm interesting.

Not to lead you on or anything, but GT official site description of A-Spec mode says
In A-Spec mode, you take control of your destiny as you become a pro driver moving up the ranks. Hone your driving skills and take on a wealth of racing events and challenges.

It's ambiguous but not far-fetched.

 No worries, mate!

My friend is a big Volvo enthusiast (he doesn`t like newer fwd volvos:tup:) and he has an old pv444 in pretty good shape, I think it is a 1957. He has told me many times that you Swedes used to drive on the wrong side of the road (The right side is the right side:sly:) for many years, but the cars were LHD? Is this true?

Yes, that's true. We never had RHD cars although we had left hand traffic as long as until 1967. :)

The NSX Mobil 1 JGTC '01 and the GT-R Xanavi Nismo JGTC '03 are not confirmed.

The reason being, the image showing those two cars was edited into another image, and is most likely a GT4 replay pic or GTPSP promotion pic.

It has not been seen in any official screenshots (Ones that haven't been edited) or trailers.

The reason your list hasn't been edited into the first list is because you're adding things to the list that shouldn't necessarily be there, because there is no solid evidence. Some cars have not yet been determined to be standard or premium either.

Apparently, according to NeoGAF, this here is the winner of the 2010 PD Trophy at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance:

It's a 1952 Abarth 1500 Biposto -- and I like it! It's just so bizarre . . .

I believe it has:

Engine: 75hp inline overhead valve 4-cylinder, 1.5 liter, dual Weber Tipo 36 downdraft carburetors
Gearbox: 4-speed

Given that the Miura was '08 winner, I think there is a fairly good chance of this being DLC.

Hi.

I guess you may be right. I may have been classifiying some cars a bit too fast. In fact, I'm revising the list completely as we speak.

However, I don't see the point of photoshopping the B-Spec pic with the Mobil 1 NSX and the GT-R Xanavi. Why go to such lenghts when they could have just take a screenshot of the real thing ? I honestly think these two are gonna make it.

Is anyone keeping track of which cars are premium and standard?

We have to be getting pretty close to finding out most of the 200 premium cars by now? Or least knowing about how many more premiums we can expect..

in an earlier post in the thread (which is updated), it said there was 154 premium cars confirmed

No confirmation, but I expect it. I mean, who doesn't now (after the Zonda R was seen?)

Yeah, I might be also checking the old pictures from the PD studio tour, the Zonda R pic was attached to a drawing board and the car ended up in the game, I know that pics attached to objects at PD office doesn't confirm anything, but rather give us some clues on what cars might be in.

Here's hoping for the F too, but I must say, even in the noisy showfloors at gamescom recorded in low quality youtube videos, you can hear the savage V12 growl from the Zonda R. I mostly drive road cars in the GT series, but this one is a must have and must drive all the time, now I'm not missing the 599GTO as much as I was doing a week ago. :D
