This is a repost from the trailer thread but if want proof this is the best you will get.

If you watch carefully at the beginning of the trailer in the pitstands ,playstation 3 is clearly written in the background

WTF. How did I see all that other stuff and not that. If that is not the biggest give away in the history of give aways.

I'm pretty certain that all cars available on GT mobile will also be available on GT5

"JVN : Y aura-t-il une interactivité entre Gran Turismo PSP et Gran Turismo 5 sur PS3?
Kazunori Yamauchi : Nous considérons la version PSP comme une invitation au jeu Gran Turismo. Je souhaiterais que ceux qui découvrent pour la première fois la série GT puissent le faire via cette version. S’ils débloquent une voiture dans Gran Turismo PSP, elle sera également disponible dans Gran Turismo 5."

The answer translates as:
"We consider the PSP version as an invitation the the Gran Turismo game. I wish that those who discover the Gran Turismo series for the first time could do it through this version. If they unlock one car in Gran Turismo PSP, it will be equally available on Gran Turismo 5"

That at last confirms that GT5 will have over 800 cars just like GTmobile.

I'm pretty sure that confirms the ZR1 for GT5. It's modeled to the exact point of the GT5:P cars.

I have to say that, even though the chances of the car being in GT5 is huge, PD may be only doing advertising for the PS3.

While this is true, what has me 99.99% convinced its GT5 is that we see the same PS3 and GT.com logos in the garages in GT5p. Also I HIGHLY doubt PD would be waste their time and make a high quality car model specifically for a GTPSP trailer and not have it be a part of GT5. Sorry but it just does not make sense.

The ZR1 (GTR SpecV is already on the list) should at least be on the list in green or red. This is a hell of a lot more trust worthy than some random magazine article or concept footage that was shown during the ice age.

Sure, I just wanted to say it was a possibility. Even if it wasn't that way, I'm sure we will be seeing PS3 advertising on GT Mobile.

Not to mention doing that just to advertise the PS3 without the possibility of either car being in-game will instantly be panned, and they'll be criticized for it.

Especially after this long wait, which hasn't even ended yet.

The ZR-1 and V-Spec are definitely modeled in GT5, it's not a video taken from GTM. Both are added.

-> Should the Ferrari Enzo change its color into black? Because its already featured in GTPSP not a speculation anymore, or is it not qualified?

With that said, This is racking up to be the most unexpected car line up i thought i would have ever seen come from pd... Car's you actually dream to drive. And alot of them. Keep up the excellent work PD.

Not that i'm knocking the small compact japanese car's from GT4.

I'm Just happy super cars and Exotic cars like the F40,ENZO,f430,599,California,512,R8,Z06 C6, ZR1,FORD GT,GTR......Excetera. were all included..

There isn't much more to tell, my wife spoke to a woman at Jaguar who confirmed that other cars besides the already confirmed XK and XKRR have been taken by the GT5 people. I have a particular fondness for the XFR and asked her to ask about that, she was told that this and others had been taken for filming or whatever they do and according to the woman at Jaguar it is now up to Sony what they use. Jaguar themselves seemed to suggest that they don't mind what they use.

Spoke to Jaguar today and many including the XFR have been taken by the GT5 people for whatever it is they do to them.
Long time no see. I kind of expect the new Jags to be in GT5 regardless of confirmation or not, but good to hear the whisper anyway. Was it really your wife who asked? I remember back before GT4 was out you were talking to the MG people and they confirmed that the MGF and ZF were the only MG's in the game well before anything official. Wasn't that kind of linked with your work?

Anyway, I can't vouch for cerbmans source but I can say he has been right before, right the way back to the days when I used to be a member on supercars.net.

Have they taken them away recently? Or are we talking a few month's or weeks ago? The reason I ask, is if PD are still modelling cars, I presume a release date at TGS or whenever is looking less likely? However, some good info, I look forward to nailing some M5's with my XF-R... :sly:

You must be someone I know by another name, I think i know, but tell me anyway.
My wife did the asking, I was at work. I would've got more info. The XFR does seem highly likely though.

From the video interview linked within cudadude's link, what tail light is this?

The closest it looks to be in GT5P is the Mazda Atenza sport (Mazda 6) but it's not.

Nah I would have recognised it right away if it was a Silvia :)
