GT5 Master Car List (NOT a wishlist - Please read first post)

We are all assuming that the Polyphony Digital award winners will be in the game, however, besides the Miura we have no proof of others. Why would it go on the list?

There's a whole article on the GT website about why the Miura was put in. essentially, Kaz REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted it in the game. And I believe it was mentioned that he modeled the car sometime AFTER it won the PD award at Pebble Beach where as most the the GT Award winners are either photographed at the event or PD visits their homes asap. So...who knows. But I do hope the others are in.

Cars in BLACK have been seen in screenshots or confirmed by PD.
Cars in RED have been modeled/photographed by PD but are not 100% confirmed.
Cars in GREEN have been mentioned by magazines/press. Out of the list 12 are not BLACK.
So tell me, where do you see cars that someone assumes will be in the game cause this car and that car is in the game? This is not a whishlist.

I was referring specifically to your post, not those cars.

That's not how it works. Unless we see the car as a GT5 model, it's not confirmed and does not go on the list.
Having another list for just those cars would be pretty pointless.

Now reread your previous message I quoted. Contradiction. Cars don't need to be seen in screenshots to go on the list.

Sorry, I have never seen it before yesterday, and I saw it on a GT5 tribute video that was uploaded yesterday, and thought I would check it out. I do wish Kaz could get his hands on a modeling of it though, as maybe DLC. Up until E3 2010, when we got a release date, I didn't visit here much, because time seemed to go by faster, when I didn't check the site 3 or 4 times a day, so I am sure I missed some stuff. It is GT5, maybe not that car, but it is GT5.

The issue is it's not even a real car, just some Ferrari fan's wet-dream render :)

Assuming you mean the the one in GT4, it was a car actually put into the game (unlike that terrible ferrari Render).

It was also designed (the Nike ONE) by the same person who designed the Saleen S7 (Phil Frank).

Pg205 and on is a discussion about the entire picture. Once one car was decided on, they moved on. The repetitiveness of all the threads is really unnecessary.

True, but it happens a lot especially when newer members decide to comment, I suppose it comes with the territory:tup: if I wasn't so much of a lurker I wouldn't know either though.

You have a point dave.. we should be talking about new cars to add to the list... I think this is what happens when there is a lull in info and with new members coming in close to launch.. new blood and all that

Being new is not an excuse. If anything, because you're new, you should be more careful about everything you do.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that he (the new member) shouldn't give his opinion on the subject, just because the older members consider the discussion finished. That's hazardous to the forum as a whole, there's many lurkers who never post, and that's mostly due to unnecessary flaming and aggressiveness directed to the brave new members who dare to post in the GT5 section. Chill out, buddy.
