Possibly, but I want EA/SMS to iron out the tuning bugs first. :)

Very true... How has your luck been with the tuning? I FINALLY had my S2000 driving decent last night without bouncing around all over the place at Brands Hatch.. But I'm still a bit lost.. have to wait til stage 3 opens so I can adjust things like camber, etc. and of course the tuning bugs... but as I stated in the PSN message I sent you, I think it could have to do with the stages... for example I cant put downforce on full... but maybe if I have stage 3 open that will change... but I wont know for sure until stage III parts are open.. My springs rates always stay the same to a certain value, but if I put it at the extreme it will flip back a notch when I exit and enter again...

I don't have it yet, but I have a feeling that I can't resist to buy it soon! :D

PSN: GTP_sejtur

I have my copy now... add GTP_Aki to list too, please.

Now I just need some time to test it littlebit also. I wish there is chance to race online without spending hours and hours to earn NFS-credits for cars? If not... hmmm... I must buy few package of coffee from supermarket. Anyone have experience about coffein-pills? My stomache dont handle lots of coffee so fine.

I have two BMW M3 -bonus codes, so send competition-proposes how to choose owner for another of them.

Hey Aki :) great to see you have the game 👍

To answer your question: you can jump right in the online races--the host can set up what type of cars will be used for the event, and you can choose from the list. The type of cars you can choose is only limited by what "tier" you are on. You should be able to choose all Tier 1 cars immediately, as well as some great "loaner" cars such as the Maserati MC-12 and a Lamborghini race car :D

Nah, I have a fully loaded (and I mean 'fully' as in ALL upgrades) RS4 and it still does that. 👎

I'm buying the game at the weekend, so you may as well add PSN ID: Cultlife - Can't wait.

ok, I'm hopefully getting it tomorrow as its release day! GTP_DGiant2000

Yup... I can confirm also :) finally opened everything up and fully upgraded it does the same as you say... They need to fix it :ouch::ouch:

LIL_KACHING but I won't play online until I'll reach tier 4. I don't play other games than GT with my GTP tag.

I will spend some time in career mode first but I think NFSS online has a bright future! GTP_fusflash

The slow cars suck... bad! The Porsche GT2 is a freaking dream to drive however.
Also, the Veyron is unbelievable! Who knew 1000hp was so useful? I sure didnt until I hit the "The Ring" with the 1000hp pig.

interesting....

interesting....

Yeah, I have been very surprised by NFSS so far. I fully expected this to be a complete waste of money. But while is not perfect, it does have an array of excellent features (you can adjust pedal sensitivity, for example) and is fairly challenging. Tuning works as described by the built-in help system. Oh, and for the most part, despite it being "OK" to play aggressively (I don't, I get about 99% of my points from "precision"), the AI cars actually AVOID ramming you most of the time. It is as if *gasp* they actually know where you are on the track (unlike GT5p and FC, in which the cars just apparently try follow an ideal line and you play "dodge cars"). The physics / feedback are realistic enough to make the game both challenging and fun.

So yeah, it is interesting. Pick it up, I think you'll be surprised too.

My guess though, it that online play could be a nightmare. NFSS openly rewards precision AND/OR aggressive driving. It may train a lot of new racers to be punters.

Private Lobbies ;)

You can add Nibbers1 to that list 👍

I have only started, and haven't the fastest car in the world - but I'll race if the competition is equal 👍.

Just got it this lunch time. Can't wait to go back home at half-past six to install it and step on gas.

Please, add me to the list: GTP_bullie77 (and no, I'm not a bully - as in bullying - racer. It's a "doggy" thing...)

Didn't see this thread earlier. You can add me since I got SHIFt since day one. :sly:

Lildomplaya

I got the game at launch at havent seen this thread yet :scared: But racing online is definetly the meat of the game and i enjoy it very much. I'm currently still tweaking my Logitech DFGT and almost have it just right (there seems to be an akward deadzone in the steering, even at 0%).

My PSN ID is my avatar name, Kilborn230, i have a mic and will be on tonight... with a few beers of course. My record leans heavy on the precision side and aim to keep it that way, although mistakes happen

Just asking off topic... what kind of Bullie you have? :)

I have 10 year old Staffordshire Bullie-girl... all Bullies rocks, but this couch-potato is greatest person ever!

She hates rain and snow, and dont want to go out then... in Finland it actually means I dont need to take her out than just few minutes per day mostly!

*7yr old American Pitbull owner*
I love staffys too. They are REALLY expensive in the USA though :(

sorry for straying off topic, I am a bully addict as well as a GT addict.

To AutoAki- She is a Female, lol, no offense taken. She was absolutely stellar looking when her, now gray, mask was all black.

Very nice lookin Dude there in picture! 👍

Bullies are very addictive Pals. I really can confirm that.

I've grown up with Schafer, and then youthness with Labradors. I loved them all, and they were great characters in everyway... but after this Princess I'm living now... there is no way back to any other spacies than Bullies!

You can add Stavingo to the list :D

Hey Hamilton and Vaxon, great to see you here! Maybe see you out there sometime. I spent a while hosting a public server tonight for "rank 10" cars and under on Nurburgring. Pretty fun driving.

For those with wheels: I'm running all three pedals at "0%" sensitivity with the following dead-zones:

Accelerator: 5%
Brake: 10%
Clutch: 10%

I've been racing with all aids off (including ABS). Feels pretty good. I wish there was a little more control of the FFB though, it is just a tad weak for me.
