I drove this demo yesterday, but in Luxembourg. Without sound and believe me not hearing the engine or a little screech is not facilitating driving.
The demo does reset to automatic, std, etc... after every run.
You can change it and together with the Tokio Demo that I drove a fortnight ago in Brussels, I do believe the std, pro difference is comparable to GT5p.
Yes new physics, but to my feeling less extreme then the GT Academy 2010 GT5 TT.
I think the 4 min is to avoid waiting lines for the demo to be too long.
They changed the screeching sound like people wanted but now you are complaining that you're hearing it too much? Come on...
You do know it depends on you driving don't you? Or you expect a driver to be trowing the car around the turns like that and the tires making no sound?
The tire screeching is really ridiculous IMO, but I found it entertaining to listen to the guys constantly complaining about the A.I.,... well still nothing new there.
It's standard physics, they're just throwing the cars into corners at crazy speeds and managing tocome through, if the tyres weren't screaming/howling I would be suspicious.
Also you can still hear a lot of screeching while he is driving straight, thats sound from the other pods, it's not all just his.

Yeah, the screeching is annoying of course, but the video was only able to get treble sounds and because of that, the screeching is so loud and we almost don't hear the engine music. What I don't really understand is, if this SLS driving experience is a promotional product, made to showcase the SLS AMG, why Merc just don't spread them over it's dealers? Or why they just don't make a video of Michael Schumacher ( Rosberg must be a bigger fan of GT I guess, but give us the best german! ) testing the game, or record his lap so the players can race against his ghost replay. They're wasting a powerful marketing tool, no one outside GTP really knows about this demo.
AI is still on rails and can be used to replace braking.
Driving in the grass at the outside of the corner at that speed and come back on the track - whilst bouncing off the rail or not.
Looks good imo.. I've got to say i'm sure the AI is better see the car blocking at about 1:12 i think.... I am however dissapointed that i can't play this yet!!! but I'll have to save my pennies for a racing seat to make up for the delay!! 💡... Or for a trip to Germany!!
