99% dont think that, you assume they do, bit if you look around you will se people that has "other" opinions about the spec 2 thing. Free update, well yes, of course it should be free, because tha game was not finished from the first beginning, all thefe features should be in game from the beginning, dont you see that? Its thanks to us consumers PD can fill their wallets.

I see the same 2-3 people complaining , everyone else is excited... I assure you you are ina great minority.

The features were not in the game at the beginning, so its bad they are still updating it? Explain how PD are suppose to make you happy? LMAO. At least theya re still giving us tonnes of free content............. What are they supposed to do not update it? When will you stop whining about it not being in launch? That was a year ago.........

It's awful. Really I keep my online play to a minimum because it takes soo long to connect to the servers.

There was a time when my speed was 70 KB/sec. but the ISP improved their servers so now I'm getting about 340 KB/sec. mostly. Still going to take a lot of time as the PS3 is via Wi-Fi and slower than the PC.

Ms has a 2 patch limit and greatly restricts Xbox live, so even if they only came out every 10 years they would not get this kind of support.

Free yes, incredible no. Games should not need patches and fixes a year from release. DLC (that is actual new content) on the other hand thats fine.

Sony kinda pushed the GT5 out too fast, Kaz said that he would have wanted one more year develop the game. And yes, no-one asked for a new intro movie.
 
I critisized Kaz and his team for this incomplete game alot, but kudos for them for announcing this epic update.

Since F1 2011, I haven`t touched my GT5 copy. But with Spec II, I will play it again! I hope they give the CLK LM race car a better cockpit view, not just blacked out lines.

Isn't that basically what the Online Events were though? I always just treated them as an extension of A-Spec mode.

Understandable, if you can't get online then you are completely screwed out of those events. Some of the recent ones are really great by the way; they give a crap load of experience, and between 250,000 - 510,000 credits. Makes affording all of the cars very easy.

No, its your opinon, as other users have said, just because you critizice the spec 2, it doesnt mean you are trolling? If features that we wanted, didnt added to the spec 2, dont we have the right to be dissapointed? Specially since PD totally have ignored us a long time, and you other fellows as well, because it shouldnt take 1 year to these stuff to be released. What have PD done in one year? These "features" you wanted, was a request before the game even got released, and thats over a year, so no, i cant really say PD has listened to us. Its rather that they are affraid to lose customers to Turn 10, thats why they bring out spec 2.0 in october. I cant believe they have worked 10 months + just to add this stuff. And if they did, they have to work in a whole new way, because with that unneffective way of working they will never release the gt6 in time. You also fail to see that Kaz isnt telling the truth in some cases. According to him it was imposssible to enable fully custom tranny, but weeks after that statement the implemented that feature, so i guess, some one is not telling us the truth....

No, Seasonals are a joke really. no Championships, different amount of races, laps. where are the manufacturer events? Qualifyimng? Real racing?

Like GTNewfie said, A-spec is more likely a joke. It needs more races. Omgitsbees said that online events did this job, but those Seasonals only have made moneymachines. I am also missing for a longer "carreer". I think the max. level should be 50 at least.

I still felt like it was a step up from what we got, but I can understand your point that PD could still do better when it comes to single player races. I'm with you on wanting better championships, qualifying, and manufacturer races.
 
So the bitching has started in ernest....

Maybe you guys would be happier with other games, who only takes user feedback onboard for their next sequel, so they can fleece more money out of us. Maybe you also like publishers who withold content deliberately to release soon after launch as chargeable DLC?

Anyway....About the pic of the new RM cars. Does this mean that there will be new A-spec events? It doesn't look like its from arcade mode, as if you select an RM car there, it never matches you with opponents in other RM's. If so, brilliant.

RM championship (possibly)....TGTT.....Weather and/or time change and no freaking cones. Bliss.

More of that please PD. Great looking update
