What's wrong with wanting those two things? GT4 had them.

Of course there´s nothing wrong with them. You are right. But if you read his post, he was complaining about everything that came in A FREE patch.

But that was all he wanted...

Now you see why I put that on the table?.

And to have Drag Racing, to the level of detail that we are going to demand, the tyre modeling would have to be completly modified. It´s hard to the GT5 engine to deal with tyre pressures, and Tº.

Honestly, I don't think drag racing would be that interesting either. I've never seen it done very well in other racing games. A lot of what makes real life drag racing so fun, is lost in a sim, and really can't be replicated.

Well, if i list my opinions and explain them whats wrong with that? I dont hate, but its funny that when even some one in here talks about gt5 you assume its hating or trolling, but if some one talks bad about forza 4, then you are all like "oh yes bro, thats true".

As far as DLC is concerned: i also don't like that its now the defacto standard for all modern video games as a way to increase revenue/profit... but it is. Your DLC comments are directed at GT5, as though it's the only video game to implement pay as you go content.

What do you do for a living?... Volunteer for free and not get paid for any of your effort? Sounds like a great way to get the bills paid.

I mean come on, if anything, the (year long) delay in GT5 DLC is proof that it is new content (not something that was produced a year ago, cut, and then made available at a price - LIKE MOST GAMES).

When 99% of people think this is an incredible free update...yes.... How many games get this kind of support? Most in the community has been asking for all these things.

Definetly agreed. Problem is that if you want drag racing, there would come things like in NFS ProStreet; You can buy a car and modify it to one class.
Tuning drag car and a track car is just too different.

There is an obvious double standard on this forum. I've started just ignoring people that can't respond back, with an ounce of thought. Some of the responses people gave you, were really rude. Ignore the haters.

I like how Shift 2's drag DLC handled the drag/track setups, but the drag racing itself still was boring. It just came down to who shift up gears faster.

It was mentioned in the article and there is images.

Cockpits for all cars doesn't mean standard to premium conversion. A premium car is incredibly detailed, inside and outside.

Those pics show the Caterham with a decent cockpit, LMS car with a low detailed cockpit and some unknown car with an all black cockpit (just like in GTPSP, and I bet the majority of standard cars will be like this)

You're ranting about the blig bling features, and just how is this not a bling bling feature as well? They're not used for anything but looks. If the rims actually made the cars lighter like in real world, then yes, I would welcome them, but in GT5 they serve no other purpose than just looks.

We all know the game wasn't finished. Kaz himself said it wasn't and that he needed more to finish it because it was made from scratch...

That is the question. Forza, the main rival doesn't get this kinda support and because of that Forza games come more often.

So you mean drag racing isnt racing? Why did they implement it in gt4 then? What makes nascar, rally, etc. more racing then drag? Change rims doesnt have anything to do with beeing a racer or not. Do you fail to see, that PD has left out a whole bunch of gt5 players because they havent implemented drag?

You want drag racing as a feature - First of all, I can rest assure this is not the most wanted feature like you say. Want to drag race? Why not just continuing doing it like the drifters are doing, since they also have a "forum."

There needs to be a 'Whiney Girls' button on this site to filter all the moaners out of the conversation. I'm all for having opinions - but jesus we're getting a bunch of stuff for nothing! Yes, maybe it should have been included from day 1 - but guess what? Kaz wanted 2 more years to work on GT5 so you wouldn't of been playing ANYTHING for ANOTHER 12 MONTHS at least if he'd of had his way.

Yeah, I get your point, but I just want to drive all cars in cockpit. And I agree with that Standard and premium car thing, that premiums are incredibly detailed.
Maybe there is a new class, something like SubPremium

Ms has a 2 patch limit and greatly restricts Xbox live, so even if they only came out every 10 years they would not get this kind of support.

99% dont think that, you assume they do, bit if you look around you will se people that has "other" opinions about the spec 2 thing. Free update, well yes, of course it should be free, because tha game was not finished from the first beginning, all thefe features should be in game from the beginning, dont you see that? Its thanks to us consumers PD can fill their wallets.

What happened to letting people have their own opinions? Some people are happy with the news, some disappointed, I can see it from both views. Some people need to grow up and accept not everyone is going to be on their knees for PD.

Free yes, incredible no. Games should not need patches and fixes a year from release. DLC (that is actual new content) on the other hand thats fine.
