JUST A HEADS UP
some accounts on twitter was hacked last night
im not 100% sure if his got hacked but
Kaz dont usually post english tweets.
So ... im just stating a possibility.
But dear god I hope this is legit

With the uneffective way PD is working i wouldnt get to hyped. New cars, and tracks, what will that give us regarding the game play? Why didnt they put in good cars from the beginning, instead they put ****** cars like ww2 cars, and other retard ones. Leaving all good cars to standard. No man, they have to learn from turn10 regarding car selection.

KAZ, you game is not a masterpiece, i will brake my gt5 disc soon, and fix fm4!!

Cry much?

I go and read news that GT5 would update to spec 2.0, but then I go and hear that twitter got hacked last night?

I doubt the validity that Kaz's own account got hacked, but I would like to see the Japanese tweet before making any judgment calls.

Probably trivial to most but I'd really like to see some features added to the Course Maker. Being able to set Elevation would be a godsend for a start and having the ability to select a part of a track and add a sector would be very handy to keep a nice sequence of corner together.

What would really make it better, though, is to add topography. Make the tarmac feel alive please PD.

If you'd read the 'Kaz tweets' thread the past week or so you'd be aware Kaz actually started tweeting in English recently and said he'll only tweet in English if it's something important he wanted to announce and he'll reserve the Japanese tweets mostly for chit chat so I doubt there's a need to question the legitimacy of the Spec 2.0 announcement.

I would be happy even if they just took the easier route and modeled the cockpits in Standards but kept the standard look on the exterior.

Would save them time.

Better to make standard models with same level of details as premium outside and less detailed cockpit :)

Yea I didnt read that lol.. I was just stating a possibility like I said.
I didnt know how often or if he tweet in english.

So disregard my earlier comment
PARTY ON ! :dunce:

Spec 2.0 is going to be super duper awesome!!!!

I think it'll include;

-Realistic smell of petrol fumes, burning rubber and overcooked bratwurst (the last one only available on the Nürburgring 24 hour lay out).
-Accurately replicated agonising pain when you crash (ofcourse an option you can immediately turn off).
-It's not only going to finally introduce The Stig but also The Schmig, The Schtick and strangely enough The Smiths...
-New super(duper awesome)cars from Scandinavia you can't pronounce properly without laughing.
-In addition to tons and tons of new tracks (including new versions of Cape Ring, one with a slot in the middle of the track and one with a vertical looping instead of the circular bridge) there's going to be a small lake as well only available for the Schwimmwagen.
-It will introduce new bugs, not the glitch/software fault variety, but the insects variety which splash apart on your windscreen in glorious HD.

If somehow (for whatever reason) not one of these things makes it (apart from that Scandinavian supercar I could do without) I'll be severely disappointed....:grumpy:

Lol.. The Schtick...
On the serious note.. I remember NFS2 SE had bugs (grasshoppers and s***t) that would splatter all over your windshield.. I would love to see something like that on the Nurb.. Weird that PD missed that one..

This is a little shock as I was not expecting. I do not think it will be anything big what some people here are expecting. If it was something really big (like 5 trakcs, 30 premiums) they would have announced at TGS. Let us wait and see it should free at least for PS + members. I dislike the whole DLC thing TBH but hope it is good update and add on :)

would like to see some/all tracks from GT1-4 come in spec2 and cant help but think that the DLC will only be the stealth and chromeline cars for a price.

I really hope the 2009-2011 spec Super GT cars are added, along with race mods for most if not all premiums.

Race modded LF-A that looks like a Super GT = instant win.

Speaking of which, COME ON LEXUS STOP BEING BORING AND REPLACE THE SC 430 WITH THE LF-A!!!!!

Midfield Raceway or WE RIOT.

Nah, I kid, but I'd actually sell my PS3 and buy it back again for Midfield Raceway. Then I'd put Feeder on and reminisce. :)

I was absolutely devastated when I found out that GT5 did not have Midfield Raceway. At least it had Deep Forest and Trial Mountain.
I'd love to see the Test Course back again. I don't think it would take that long for PD to make because of the simplicity of the track. It's not like we need scenery like Rome or London for example.

I hope there will be more option for course maker, maybe more locations, point to point or maybe you can do exactly how your track will look like. It would be SWEEEET!! :)

I got slammed a few days ago for talking bout dlc, had heard a rumour summit new was coming, but no one believed me. Glad to see there MIGHT be something comin after all. I wonder what? bit close to the launch of forza 4. PD had to do something.

Ahh!! This is dope man! But a very expensive next two months for gaming, need to get my PS3 fixed, and get F1 2011, Skyrim, and BF3. Oh well I can't wait! From the old Spec updates for GT5P, this, in theory, should be good. :D But as well for all the people saying we shouldn't pay for DLC, if it was free, it would probably be included in the Spec 2.0 update, and not DLC, so its hopefully going to be content that was never planned on being in the game, so maybe some 2011/2012 model cars, and newly modeled tracks.

If I could find the thread, from August, where I said we'd get this in October, I'd quote myself. ;)

Very exciting though, fingers crossed for something good, and DLC priced nicely. 👍
