Laguna Seca has been reported to be made anew, and that Trial Mountain simply is returning. It may just be like a standard track. But still, looks good.

That means we'll be seeing all of GT4's tracks.

I said standard tracks back at Gamescon and people called me crazy. I hope that´s the case, because i surelly don´t want to miss any GT4 track!!!

I think many people have been pondering the thought for some time, they probably weren't as vocal as the others... :p

I even suggested a DLC pack that included the older tracks and cars - now it seems we might be getting both, "for free".
 
It appears Chamonix is back, too.

I was wondering when we'd see this particular CbyGT, seeing as how the other one has been renamed "Road Car". Looks evil :D

Why would it mean that? I don't see the connection between tracks and cars.

The same time the "premium" moniker started appearing under cars in the selection screen, it also appeared under the circuits, too.

I own a 2003 Mustang Mach 1 and I'm glad they have the classic one in GT5!

Because the LeMans trailer specifically had the track labelled as "premium", so since then we started to wonder.

The general consensus seems to be that the Premium tracks are the ones that can feature dynamic weather and lighting changes. The "standard" tracks probably use fixed lighting like the game has traditionally done. I would imagine that's the only difference, the build quality should be the same, and they won't be "imported" from previous games like the standard cars.
 
They could add "THIS IS WHY IT TOOK US 5 YEARS" at the end ;)

tracks separeted in premium and standard. premium are the track rebuilt in gt5 graphic like nurbur while the other are from in hd like standard cars.

I agree that the Standard tracks won't have the day/night or weather transitions - or possibly even any variation in these themes at all. But that doesn't mean the Standards aren't ported. Look at the standard cars, the exact same applies - fewer features.

Dont think its a F1 car check the front wing out, doesnt look right. Perhaps the X1 prototype although in the trailer for that it is shown with front bodywork like a LMP racer.
