There's a 1971 Ford Mustang "hidden" in the Red Bull trailer at 35 seconds.
F 👍

Hey anyone catch that Enzo(0:58 sec) on what seems to be El Capitan from GT4? I loved the look of that course, PD fantasy courses are always so well done, I want Complex String back. That driving in the rain just gave me shivers, 18 hours in on Le Mans and it starts to rain lightly, it's dark and my tires are beginning to lose cohesiveness because the road is getting that dangerous layer of water, the next guy behind me is only 4 seconds back, but on la Sarthe that isn't much, only a couple of miles to the pits. I can't wait.

I think that the snow on course will be left up to location, as it makes no sense to have snow on Laguna Seca as it doesn't snow down there. As long as those rules are adhered to then GT5 will definitely make me one happy camper. Not sure about the stuff that comes with my collectors edition, but I doubt I will be doing much looking at those things as once I get into the house into my system GT5 goes and away I go, importing my cars from Prologue and GT PSP. I want to take scenic drives around the new courses in my sexy machines before I get down to business. PD have definitely outdone themselves, while they couldn't give us 1000 premium cars, they did give us 2 tenths of that, plus 800 other cars we enjoyed over the series, now they include day to night transitions, dynamic weather, air pressure and humidity that affects car performance(can only imagine what this means for turbos in cold climates), an interesting course randomizer(hope there is a race version like in GT2). You know what I think that I can sit back and say that Kaz and the crew have not just wasted 5 years of development, the rain blasted windshield of that Enzo says it all. They are not to be taken lightly when it comes to making a driving game. Get ready people, Nov is fast approaching. Hope to see you all at the GTP Racers Paddock!

I think you will have some time to look at the book when you are installing 10GB to your HD, haha.

The same display was shown in the X1 trailer.

If you pause the X1 trailer at 34 seconds it looks like no cockpit. However, at that point too especially, it looks a lot like it could be a fighet jet canopy!

Cant wait to find out which!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Actually, at that same bit, you can see refelctions in the top left of the video. JET FIGHTER CANOPY FTW!!!

It's the concept formula car designed by Newey for GT5.

But is it? compare the shots of the car in the red bull vid to those in the X1 prototype vid.

The X1 prototype seems to have body work like an LMP racer not like an open wheeler as can be seen in the Red Bull vid

I think when they said "gifts" I bet you will be able to share and trade cars with players like we get to do in GTPSP, I consider it a gift that someone gave me their garage, and that could take place in your lounge imo.

I think it is the X1 that Kaz and RBR were creating at the end of the E3 trailer. At the end Kaz put something in a carbonfiber oven and closed the door of it. Under the cover of the car in the trailer i think i see wheelfenders and not tires. Correct me if i am wrong.

Sorry, my bad. I thought that's what ppl were talking about but the car with lights and wheel covers clearly isn't F1.

I also noticed some differences, or think I noticed as we still haven't seen this car fully, might be 2 different variations using the same chassis with different bodywork or maybe there are even more pleasant surprises regarding this concept ( choosing or partly creating some parts yourself perhaps, hence the autoclave although unlikely ).
Think I was one of the first a few months ago to point out it might be a Newey-designed concept free of regulations when I was told it probably just meant a Red Bull F1 car.

Completely forgot about that, that will probably the the last time I see those things for a few months.

Good eye on that Mustang, I thought it was a Camaro, but it's the fastback Mustang, might it be the 309?

Sidenote I was checking around the online sites for news on GT5 at TGS, it's horribly pathetic, Eurogamer said something and that was just in passing, such disdain for GT series. Not one site has the trailer up, or has mention of the dynamic weather inclusion, oh well thank goodness for GTP. I was close to losing it looking for TGS info on GT5.

That Citroen decked out in race gear looks mean, hey I wonder if now the Veyron can get decked out in race trim and made to be a beast on the race courses or will it be the steaming pile it is on FM3. Why is there no word of modification, I wanted to see body modification. I hope this is in, wouldn't want to be online and not be known for my slightly eccentric design choices on my vehicles 👍 to a painshop being in there. I hope the community part of GT5 is really well put together.

guys IT'S a F1.

Check the video again. It's one frame only after ther misterious sheet.

First you see Sebastian Loeb and then a rally car, next you see Vettel being scanned and the misterious images. I really, really think it's a 2009 or 2010 Red Bull F1.

Like you say we havent exactly seen the full thing yet although the cars in the two different trailers dont look to be the same car so possibly more than 1 RBR/PD concept car :sly:

I'll wipe the floor wit hthe X1 in the F2007 anyway ,me and that car have been together for soo long now, I know it better than the back of my hand, because my hands are facing the other way for shifting .

Go to google images and check out the front of the RB5/6 the 09/10 Red Bull F1 cars. It isnt either of them from what I can see :sly:

Looks the same to me:

redbullrb5_2009f1car-21.jpg

the tip of the nose is similar but have a look where the wing is attached its completely different in that area to my eyes at least 👍

I hope im wrong and the RB5 is in but it doesnt look quite right to me

Also you could have at least gotten a pic of Webber instead of Vetool :sly:
