The 2.09 pp is much better. Thank you!

I'd argue that their method for calculations can be further improved, though, and that should be a goal that PD keep striving for. The High End Performance G37 is still in an awkward pp slot. In 2.09, it's too high. In 2.11, it was dropped too low. It should hover closer to the 520-525 pp level.

Over all, it's a good move to revert to the old pp system. 👍

Kind of annoying having to go back and retune all of my cars, but I'm glad we have returned. I wouldn't have minded the PP change if it hadn't changed some cars so drastically.

Definitely good to see the PP method has been changed back, looks like they listened to us 👍

who is the effing genious that thought up changing the PP for cars already entered in TT #55?

LOL, my 399PP miata jumped to 440PP, and my Nascar jumped like 67PP+.

...small price to pay for having things right again...

...no complaints...

My gf loves the new pp...

I had to...

I wish PD just got things right as there is too much back tracking on their part.

I am so glad I don't have to ban FR cars anymore. And type "no ruf 3400s" every time a stranger enters my room.

I wasn't sure how attentive PD was to us. Now I know they are.

I'm very glad they fixed it. That were some very unpleasant weeks online. Now I just hope all the people who quit racing because of this will come back...

this is good news indeed. Now I'm finally more stoked to participate in casual online races :D They've reverted the PP calculations back to the way it was before 2.10 :O

In some ways, it's a shame, because now my 280pp Miata will have jumped up. The japanese '80s festival won't be my cash cow anymore! Still, glad it's back to how it was, when it was a little bit poorly judged, instead of "all FRs are useless - let's whack several PP off them!" Good job PD.

Could somebody check if the Corvette C7 has more wheels and colors to it. I am thinking because Chevrolet added a C7 color and wheel configurator 15th of February.

Can you FR me or tell me who to FR, I'm deleting paints again to keep under the limit :) 👍

Got
1004 Solids
1111 Metallic

I think your in the wrong thread dude ;)

Anyways, I wonder if this update was just something to fix the pp or added some secrets which won't be unlocked until later...

I was just starting on the 24hr Nürburgring and the patch reset my BGM to the GT5 one...

I doubt I'll be able to change that via the main menu options - so I'll be stuck with a load of guff that sounded like clubland rave for the next 21 game hours.

I never played GT5 at all during the 2.10 PP changes. So, could someone please explain what happened that made people dislike the RUFs and Muscle cars?

Did they essentially have a much lower PP figure than they should have had? Allowing them to enter races with totally uncompetitive cars?

Thanks in advance.👍

[Correction of Known Issues]
- Corrected an issue where the game would not boot after the 2.10 update in some cases.

I'm hoping they fixed the save looping glitch. I was in the process of fixing it while the 2.11 notification came up. This was about 10 minutes after I deleted all the patches :banghead:

I just tried it on my stuck car/looping gamesave, and not only does the game now startup, the stuck car is.... unstuck, I can now drive it for the first time in 2 years!

Nice work PD

Not for someone who spent long hours to find a way to cope with previous changes to keep a database up to date, and now sees all this as a big waste of his time :banghead:

A lot of cars got there PP drastically lowered, like 70-80PP in some cases. This means you could put a lot more power in and still stay below a PP-limit. As a result the spread of laptimes between the fastest and the slowest cars increased hugely to an unbalance never seen before.

Thank you for clearing that up.👍
