If GT5 uses the world map in GT4, which region will have the most cars that you like?

Voted Japan, skylines, evos, supras, scoobys .... what more could u possibly want? :p

Sports cars that don't rely on AWD & doesn't look like a humdrum family hauler sedan?

I'd seriously buy a Mitsu or a Subaru if they offered the EVO or STI drivetrain in a sleek looking 2-door sports car. But as it is, boxy sedans don't interest me too much.

Japanese sedans are still a lot more interesting than American sedans.

this is about what region you prefer and not a thread to argue your opinions and preferences. Keep it to yourself.

I'm gonna have to go with Europe.

I'm an American, so of course I love the muscle. And Japan makes some really, really cool cars, too...

But European cars are just so much cooler. Also, as was mentioned earlier, they've got everything. Literally everything: huge cars, midsize, small, micro cars, sedans, coupes, wagons, FWD, RWD, AWD, front, mid, rear engine.

Right. And if you read what I wrote, you would have realized that it's why I didn't vote for Japan.

Also, the whole topic of what region someone prefers is nothing but opinions & preferences. There are no facts to discuss in this thread, just opinions. And if everyone kept it to themselves as you so kindly suggested renders this thread pointless...

LOL, stating you like europe or japan or us isn't the same as "dissing" what you didn't vote for. Say what you voted for and why you voted for it not the opposite.

I've grown to like the brutality of American cars, I've come to enjoy the sensibility (and sometimes insanity) of Japanese cars...

But in the end, my heart beats for the likes of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Audi, etc a lot more than for their alternatives from other parts of the world. Sure it can be fun to drive a Japanese car, an American car, but if I'd have to pick a car to drive each day, I'd pick one from the stables of Europe.

I didn't "diss" Japan. I merely pointed out that they don't offer the cars that I prefer. Now, if they did, my vote may have been different.

And again, stating why I didn't vote for something is just as valid as stating why someone voted for something else.

And one final point, why do you care so much? There's no rule book on what I can type down as my opinion as long as I don't use offensive language or call someone names. If you don't agree with my post that's your problem.

I voted for Japan. However, if we get Koenigsegg, Porsche or Noble i'm going to be all for Europe. Mclaren has swayed me a little, I just need one more reason then i'm a Europe man all the way :)

Only one choice really - Europe, for the following:

  • Ferrari
  • RUF
  • VW
  • Audi
  • Bugatti
  • Lamborghini
  • Pagani
  • BMW
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • Jaguar
  • McLaren
  • TVR
  • Alfa Romeo
  • Aston Martin
Not to mention potentials just mentioned above like:

  • Koenigsegg
  • Porsche
  • Noble
Mix in the Fiats, Renaults, Peugeots, and Citroens, and you have a wide range of bases covered.

Edit: Added Aston Martin - how could I have forgotten that?! ;)

Without a doubt - Europe. While the Xanavi and Motul SuperGT cars are p. much also awesome, Europe holds my fav automotive maker Aston Martin. Apparently the DB9 Coupe is confirmed, as expected, however, hopefully PD will have included some of the cars from the European GT. Cause y'know, the DBR9 is just pure awesome :P

However there are several other European cars I'm looking forward to drive, especially the LMS versions, most notably the R8 and the Zonda. Plus all of the Ferraris. And the SLS. And all of the Lambos.

Hmm Edit.. Didn't the DBR9 participate in this years Super GT ?

I voted Europe as it has the most exciting and exotic cars and the most interesting tracks but Japan will be awesome due to the huge number of Japanese cars in the GT series
