Blah blah to update, they have just changed channel mixing, to help people with bad setup on their audio systems.
This update kills most of my good audio, now it's not anymore using bass channel for engine sounds so much, flatten engine sounds when driving them more thru mid and front side speakers.
But at least people with their cardboard boxed speakers can now hear engine sounds more properly.

Judging from what people are saying here I think the mixing has been adjusted and some cars tweaked.

In early days of GT6 I adjusted sounds(channels, left, right, center, surround and bass) of my surround system I got pretty decent sounds out from GT6. Then I bought AVIA calibrating DVD and got really neat sounds out from GT6, now it's just flatten sounds because it's not using bass channel so much as it was using.
Good for most stereo sound or badly adjusted surround systems, but 🤬 if you have good surround properly adjusted, now I have to tweak something out of ordinary channel balance (if that's even helping anymore) to achieve sounds what game had.

The Shelby GT350's Stock Exhaust's pitch is higher;
Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary's Stock Exhaust is the same;
Nissan GT-R GT3's sound is also the same;
Lister Storm's sound is the same;
Nissan R390 GT-1 Race Car's sound is the same;
Ford Escort Rally Car's sound is also the same;
Jaguar XJR-9's sound is also the same;
Lexus IS-F Racing Concept '08's sound is a bit different, but it is mixed with a little of vaccum cleaner;
Nissan R92CP's sound is the same;
Subaru Impreza Rally '99's sound is the same;
Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 LM Race car's sound is the same;
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sports C4's Semi-Racing Exahust, Racing Exhaust, Sports Exhaust and the Stock Exhaust are different: It has now sounds from the C6 Z06;
Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray '69 maintains its sound;
Lotus Elise Race Car '96's round is the same;
Audi Quattro S1 Rally Car '86's sound is the same.
That's all that I have found.

Biggest difference i noticed with the LFA Nürburgring. Rest of what i testet (M4,Z4 GT3,Nismo GTR, Charger R/T,Mustang GT500,Audi R8 4.2,Audi Quattro Pikes Peak) had tiny to no changes... Especially the Audi Quattro is extremely disappointing, i mean, just watch a Dirt Rally Lets Play, that thing sounds Amazing there...

still nothing change from z4 gt3 and the rest of big racing cars,like c9 , i never said before , but lil bit disappointed of lotus t 97 sound, never be happy of it, seems a nice update,i haven't tablets, but i like the wet surface of eifel,right way.

OH MY GOSH YES! I tried out some guys eifel track this morning and he changed it to raining. I was shocked! Absolutley amazing looking!i cry

A crying shame, but the BMW Z4 GT3 - slight improvement but still sounds like a vacuum truck, nothing like the REAL Beemer GT3's we can hear on YouTube - those are the "real deal".
