I noticed a slight (and I mean slight, but I'm sure someone will exaggerate and call it game breaking) drop in frame rate during a race. No idea about during the academy time trial. I'll have to wait until I get home later.

It does. You can't officially enter your times to win but you can enjoy the whole thing until the US one releases later.

Puts into question the sense of this whole thing.

PSN doesn't update the US store just because they don't want to, out of sheer stupidity. Surely, it wouldn't be so hard? And what's the point of it if someone can anyway get it like you just did?

Given GT5 your optimism is impressive.

Any impressions so far on the physics and wheel force feedback (DFGT/G27/Fanatec)?

Added the download from the web store and hoping my PS+ picks it up and downloads it ready for when I get home from work.
