I think I thought I saw it coming, and I also thought I saw others not thinking it would ever happen. Ah well, it'll happen .
Good! Of course there would be a demo sooner or later, but I really want to play it now.
I know it's not too long until they release the demo, but July sounds so long oh no no, I don't like to be nervous.
Anyway, I hope we can play on an original circuit on this demo. However, as far as I know PD, they will stick with their new course, so probably Silverstone...
It's curious that the demo will also include GT Academy, since that would presumably have a heavy Nissan tie-in. Perhaps GTA will be an option from the main menu, in the same way Arcade and GT Mode are now?
This is interesting; we haven't had a GT demo in a long, long time. Well, I mean we have; but we had to pay for them
I'm also amazed at how they're bringing in a free downloadable demo, like the other games. Makes me feel happy and know that the full version of GT6 is coming.
Well of course. hehe
That's what some people thought/conjectured would happen. I was being extremely hopeful for something like this so I'm glad. If only the Demo, GT Academy '13, and GT6 would release sooner.
Excellent. So glad they are giving us a FREE demo instead of the Prologue garbage.
What about the GT5 demo/GT Academy?
This seems to be exactly the same thing.
Can't wait!!! July can't come any faster, and after seeing some new gameplay footage the physics are looking promising.
Excellent news, just wonder if there will be more than one track?
Is this the American GT academy or all of them(middle east, europe ,etc)?
I was just about to do a thread if we will see any demo of the game. Sweet :-)
i just hope its not another gt5, i will still support polyphony though
Will definitely get this demo when it comes out.
I can't wait
Good news. Wondering what sort of content it will have. Also looking forward to Digital Foundry's tech analysis of the demo. Is it July yet?
NICE. I hope its a hefty demo with many cars and tracks.
I really just can't wait to test out the physics and maybe get some drifting in.
I think we can expect something very limited like the GT5 demo.
It's probable that we'll only get to try out variations of Silverstone plus these cars -
Cars featured on the GT6 Silverstone demo (* denotes new to Gran Turismo):
Acura NSX 91
*Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale 11
*Alpine A110 1600S 68
*Audi Sport quattro S1 Rally Car 86
Ferrari 458 Italia 09
*Ferrari Dino 246 GT 71
Ford GT 06
*KTM X-BOW R 12
Lamborghini Countach LP400 74
*Light Car Company Rocket 07
McLaren MP4-12C 10
*Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 11
Nissan 370Z (Z34) (GT Academy Version) 08
Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) 08
Nissan GT-R Black edition (GT Academy Version) 12
*Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24 Schulze Motorsport
Nissan Leaf G (GT Academy Version)
*Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance 12
Toyota 86 GT 12
I can't wait! I'd definitely buy this game once the price goes down.
I really hope that's the car list we will get, it's very nice. I wouldn't be bummed if all we got was Silverstone, but I would play so much I'd master it. I'd race it in my sleep.
I think this Demo will be just like GT Academy 2012 with GT6 physics.
Featuring Silverstone and various NISSAN Vehicles. Probably the same cars as GT:A 2012.
It might include some new features but I wouldn't get my hopes too high.
I'm excited for this and I'm praying it has the Light Car Company Rocket. It really reminds me of a Modernized Ferrari 156.
This is great news, kind of stated yesterday, but still, woot!
It's also dreadful.
Now, I have to slog through three weeks or so till E3, and then time will crawl yet AGAIN until the demo is released. I had a blast running around the Indy Infield in that 370Z on Comfort Softs... or was it Medium?
Fun fact: if you do the same thing in GT5, the feel of the car is amazingly similar, as are the lap times! While I dig the heck out of throwing my rides around curves on Sports Softs or Racing Mediums, taking a sports car around a twisty course on Comforts is an amazingly lifelike experience I enjoy periodically.
Really want to drive the LP400, Dino, S1 and the Alpine.
This is GT Academy. Expect only Nissans.
Perhaps together with a few Mercedes? *hope*
Demo + GTAcademy will extremely stress my bandwith. 4GB?
