Haven't played in a long time due to the hacks and hybrids, are they still rampant in GT6?

Apparently not. Played some matches, and nothing happened. The thing seems to be stable.

I haven't witnessed any "hacked" or "suspicious" cars yet. So I think GT have done a good job preventing the hackers.

But... you haven't actually said you've seen this.
Your innuendo is that you have.
But I'm wondering if this is so later you can say, "Oh, I never said I saw it, I was just asking a question."
Come to my room, we run every day for at least five years, we meet thousands of people, and among them are often cheaters. so you can see directly. We run every day from 15 pm to 18

No, you can't. Not even if you're able to "hack" your car. The only way to do that would be to glitch out of the track.

@JimmyItsOn : I haven't seen a hybrid in probably over a year, so if hybrids still exist they're extremely rare.

exactly.i run in 1,06 and i'm not a bad driver.I have seen other run in ,0,57.

I never saw a hacker with a "hybrid" car since the beginning of GT6.

Never seen a hacked car in GT6 yet. Cheaters that cut all the corners that the game does not penalize you for...yes all the time. Wish PD would adjust the off track penalties.

I also run a nightly room. I have not seen a hacked car in GT6.

I've only seen one hacked car in a drag lobby but it wasn't anything insane, it was a 4WD RX-7 with a 787B engine

Which rooms are you visiting? I haven't encountered any hackers or any suspicious/hacked cars.
Just like to point out, not all cheaters are hacking. Can be corner cutting, ramming etc.

How long ago was this?

I have encountered one I think, but that was in the very early days of the game.

0,57 minute or 57 seconds,as you like
.57 minutes would be about 34.2 seconds
.57 could more easily be mistaken as just over half a second. These things matter. ;)

I've had a few people call me a cheat, just for running fast laps, and I smell fish,

About 1-2 weeks ago, from then on I haven't seen any.

And still no description of what you've actually seen.

This is why I thought that comment about the fast lap time was spuriously dubious.
Because:
A) people usually have noticed hacked cars because they look bizarre on track (like the video I saw of what I think was a chainsaw car at Tskuba) or more often because the HP is way huge for the car, in the participant roster screen.
B) people who use hacked cars seem to be more interested in showing off their hacking itself than running fast laps via cheating "just a little"... and even when they do try to cheat "a little" - it seemed to wind up pretty obvious back when those were reported in GT5 & described here on the forum. Because the hacks don't go halfway... they just can't help piling it on. :boggled:
C) people seem to assume that any lap time they can't match must be the result of mechanical advantage cheating... when sometimes all they need to do is watch the person's lap and suddenly it becomes clear where they're gaining time the good old fashioned way - with good lines and deft cornering.

That's immediately what I thought. New track = someone found a way to glitch it or something.
Wouldn't be surprised by that at all.
But if that were the case... If I suspected someone was cheating that way in a room I was hosting, I'd sit out a race to watch & see how they were doing it... or I'd at least save the replay to watch later.
And at that point, I wouldn't have vague accusations about the person cheating... I would be able to describe how they were doing it.

Haven't seen a hacked vehicle in about 8 months. Last one I seen was a person using the moon rover on willow springs.

I haven't seen any hybrids yet. I would like a return, but only good hybrids. Not the ones built to cheat.

@watermelon punch Could you possibly link the Tsukuba "chainsaw car"? Sounds interesting.

Imperial, or metric second?
Time.
It doesn't change from country to country.

Edit: I suppose maybe in the people who live there's mind, but the amount of time in a revolution of the Earth, which the time I am talking about is based on, does certainly not.

Sorry I said chainsaw... but I meant to say CIRCULAR SAW. :dopey:
I don't even know if that's what it was, I just looked at a video briefly on Youtube, and thought it looked like a circular saw driving through cutting the track at Tskuba like a saw would drive through a plank of wood.
I think they also had the lunar rover out at Tskuba in that video. (Which I would love that.)

Pretty sure that's the joke.

Wish someone manage to hack Alfa VGT using the available code..... before it got erased......
