They're very different experiences. There's a lot about GT7 that is better, customisation, graphics, custom races. But the single player structure of GT1-6 is better than GT7 IMO. Well, maybe not 5, but 3 and 4 were standouts for that IMO.I've read about the common complaints like engine sound, but I've unexpectedly enjoyed GT7 so much, it makes me wonder if I should give GT6 a try. Knowing that 2 generations have passed in the mean time, of course.
I hear a lot about how bad the cars sound in GT6. Is it better or worse than GT4?GT7 looks better, drives better and sounds better but I love the car list and track list in GT6 more. GT7 takes itself too serious. I have more fun in GT6 and especially GT4!
How are the physics? Will it be a big step back from GT7?It might be slightly better but still pretty bad but that doesn’t really bother me. I like that I can buy any car in any color whenever I want and don’t have to wait for it to “show up” in the used car dealership. Plus it has most of the “original” classic tracks that are just fun to drive. I know I’m in the minority but I still love 6. I play 7 during the week and 6 on the weekends but hey, that’s just me. 😁
You really can’t compare an old game to the new version, newer is always going to look, sound and drive better. You have to overlook a lot but I think the older games are way more fun. I’d play GT4 more if it wasn’t such a hassle changing over to my old wheel for PS2.
We will get there i hope. Soon we will break the wall of 600 in gt7It's kinda sad that most cars don't have the "Premium" level of detail though... that's probably the biggest downside of this game to me.
However, it doesn't bother me much as I mostly play using Chase cam so I can live with that.
Imagine having well over 1200 cars, all of them in Premium detail...![]()
Yep, by the looks of it, we should end up with something close to 700-800 cars in GT8 or whatever GT7's successor is / will be.We will get there i hope. Soon we will break the wall of 600 in gt7
