Good Evening GT Hunters.
Lots of great action - good to see everyone pushing each other up the ladder. This is one way to keep in practise, eh?
A big welcome to
bj23, RMan72 and
wahthewalrus - and good to see
cory joining us as well as the indomitable
DisabledRacer himself who can sometimes race in a wheelbarrow and still win. 👍

Most of the splits in the leaderboard between first and last are quite small - and this only shows that if the pack of you were racing together Online it would surely be a pretty heated race.
Managed to get some time at the console and grabbed the VI R '10 and improved my time at
The Top Hatch. No tune as yet, so there's still hope for improvement. Very relaxing and addictive race - most of the fields are paced the same - with the Bimmer as the Gold Rabbit in this lot. AI
Rivers in the VI R '10 also does a fair job of providing the player with a satisfying race depending on pace.
Having pretty much maxed out with the Golf I switched to the
Corvette Operator and oboy - did I love this car and this race. Rather long - so I managed to get two runs at it, lost the first, won the second - but hoping to find the time to do more. I still have power in reserve, but must get a proper tune for it. This car really blows on this course - and to be racing with a whole bunch of sleek new Corvettes is a guaranteed smiley.

For you guys trying out that event - what PP/HP are you running. Any tunes? This car has amazing potential and is a dream to drive - no wonder I drove it so often around Hawaii in TDU2. Handling in GT6 is eons better of course.
Finally at another sitting I was at the Green Hell enjoying myself immensely trying to win the race in the YellowHat GT-R. My mission is to beat the race in this before I move on to trying another car, but I can't seem to get more than 174 MPH. The fight between down-force and top-speed is killing me. Again, must get a tune - and what better place to find one than GTPlanet.

TG, the event lasts all month so I can get to try out a few more cars - so many great GT500 cars to try.
So back to the drawing board (or rather, the Starting Line) for me on that one. I never tire of the Ring, though. It was what brought me into Gran Turismo and kept me there. Should I mention the dreaded Mission 34?
