Looking from the play backs it seems there has been some advancements. Thanks for the videos people.

Which is great...until you're fighting for position, somebody cuts you off and sends one of your tires into the kitty litter. It takes you six seconds to get back on track and now your race is over.

Having a slow patch inside corners is not the answer; that's just the easy way out. Devs need to create better algorithms that can accurately interpret whether the maneuver off track was purposeful or by accident, whether or not an advantage was gained, and if so what an appropriate punishment would be.

Algorithms can only take you so far though, there will always be situations where the math gets broken and the computer will come to the wrong conclusions. I'm not a fan of super sticky pads (EMAS?) either. The best solution in my opinion is that the community moderates itself. Not that humans are error-proof, but at least it's possible to have a discussion, which you can't have with an algorithm.

But maybe there could be an algorithm that detects incidents (without assigning blame) and saves them in a special replay file, so that the host easily can review the situations?

noticed the roughed up dirt grass on the curbs on that Suzuka vid - I can't recall seeing those in GT5

A quick replay function is definitely needed.

what a noob lol

I can't help but feel that I jump in glee of how beautiful the Matterhorn track looks. Its just so. So... Stunning. ^.^

There's certainly potential for great photomode pictures.
Oh yes there definitely is potential. Tracks that are surrounded by nature such as Matterhorn, are always my most favorite of all. :)

So I guess you love Eiger xD
Edit: But yeah gotta admit Matterhorn landscape looks very great and detailed! There will be lots of beautifull races on that place!

Eiger is a beautiful track and matterhorn looks even better!
Will be taking a few pictures there I think.
Yes it is especially with an audi R8 on Eiger set a bit cloudy! Try, you'll see what I mean...

Hi guys !

I don't know if you remember me, I posted some exclusive GT5 footage back in the days, before it came out. ;)

This time it won't be exclusive I guess, but I will be at the press opening of Paris Games Week (PGW) tomorrow night. I hope I'll be able to bring you some GT6 footage a few hours later. :)

Hey Nanaki! Yeah I remember your stuff. :)
Hope you get some good footage.

Hello Nanaki. I don't think you and I met before, but it's great to meet ya. I look forward to your videos. :)

Indeed, some context of that image would help.

It appears, like there are special events for each of the anniversary car. Look in the top right of each box, the Alpine has a 5 and the Audi R8 LMS has a Silver Trophy. Also it says at the top, "Celebrate Gran Turismo's 15th Anniversary with these diverse races spanning the history of the series." I too would like to know some more about this and where it came from.

That's certain what it looks like, yes, so some context would help.

Apologies guys! I was meant to post this in another thread for GT6 fan art. Sorry!

Oh, so it's not real. I thought it looked a little cramped.

Also the Shelby GT500 in GT6 is a 2013 model not 2010. Small detail. Carry on chaps!

Thanks for the videos , the game looks realy nice!
