Apparently it has a v6 F1 derived twin turbo in it. I imagine the theoretical gas turbine thing would have blown the Sony marketing budget.

But, yes, the car doesn't drive I believe.

Im saying its not a mistake any longer. GT6 has never been out before. This is a NEW GT6. Therefore, All the cars in the game are new to GT6. Thats why they should change the wording from new to the series if they are keeping the "6" next to all the cars.

Now, if someone hit enter for "Add 6 to all" cars when they added the Delta Wings, etc. Then, for sure its a mistake.
 
I don't recall that photo from GT5.

You need to read the official list again.

It clearly states, " indicates that the car is appearing for the first time in the series."

It is a mistake.

Scroll up, I put the WEBSITE quote in my original post. I noted they need to change the wording if they are keeping the 6 next to all the cars.
 
is there a picture of the (DeltaWing 2013 DeltaWing) in the game ?
 
If the photo is from from GT5 why was it reissued with GT6?

It says the 6 denotes a car new to the SERIES, not new to GT6.
The list had mistakes in it from day 1 as it counted standards converted to premiums as new, anyway.
The wording is fine. The list is screwed up.

While we're at it let's rename the 24 minute challenges as well. FML, they sound so stupid. I definitely lost my words when I saw a screenshot of the "24 minutes of Spa" challenge showing an XJ13 and an R18 TDi sharing the track. Yeah, because they have around the same power/weight ratio and...that's it. Unbelievably stupid. For crying out loud, they've been bragging since the game was announced about the inclusion of GT3 cars...why not, I don't know, actually filling the grids with them?

It's a challenge, just like those challenges in GT4. Old model vs. new model, fast car vs. slower cars which you have to overtake within a certain amount of time, etc. We propably race the new R18 against the Jaguar with the Jag being 5/6 laps in front of us. And keep your cool, mate. Unbelievable how worked up some people get over the shortcomings of GT6...
 
Is anyone documenting the gift cars for us? Might be nice to have a thread that tells which cars you get for what accomplishments. One of my few gripes about GT5 was that the prize cars seemed kind of random, rather than a progression that would help you get through upcoming races.

Where was it reissued with GT6? I haven't seen it in any of the GT6 released images.
 
@eSZee, are these all license tests or race events? Or do they just require the B license? I'm confused by the "National B" in the top left.
 
Events. Part of the series under teh NATIONAL B icon on the main menu.

I seen the photo on a Japanese website show casing GT6 "which I'm trying to find and I seen it on the News page today @R1600Turbo.

We do? I'm not going to give them props for managing to meet their own targets three days before release (by introducing more dupes, no less).

I'm glad they got to the actual number, but I stand by pretty much everything I said before when we didn't know. Deltawing shenanigans aside which was probably out of their control, why give your customers the run around?
