I suspect that goes with the motion blur... either its difficult to get sharp shadows and motion blur at the same time, or when PD gave the game motion blur they accidentally blurred the shadows to and didn't notice...

Perhaps. I'm not too fussed because I'm never going to drive in chase cam, but it's just a little detail that seems to have regressed from GT5, which suffered from tearing and blocky shadows but that were correct in their overall shape and edging.

Wow, it looks a lot better than I was expecting!

Its a good trade off, hazy shadows wont ruin the immersion, shadows that look like Lego blocks do.
That and blocky smoke killed the graphics of five.

I wonder... has the veyrons hanling improved sice gt5? because it was terrrrrrrrrrrrrrible in gt5... and also is that realistic? does it realy have THAT bad handling in real life?!?!?

For the last time...the Veyron had great handling in GT5. It was the fastest road car even on kart-like tracks. Just because most people didn't account for the higher straight line speed and were braking too late doesn't make it a bad handling car.

No. just... no. it is completely the opposite. i am deffinately NOT braking too late, nor am i saying its a slow car, but i AM saying that its handling is very underwhelming... in fact it feels like a bus.

I wonder if it actually improves the car's aerodynamics in-game.

Didn't notice it. Specs dropped significantly after I bought it, these are the given figures in the dealership, and what I got after adding the cover and doing over 100 kms with it. And yes, those garage figures are just the same as they were when the car still had 0.0 kms on it and no cover.

Just a thing on the Mercedes Vision GT video from Jordan. Does anyone get the impression that the tyre squeal sounds are similar to classic GT sounds? Like the ones from GT1, 2 & 3?

Also the video has been shared by the Brands Hatch facebook page again and this time they've tagged GTPlanet in their description.

Thank you. This 100%. I tested all sports cars in GT5 on the Nordschleife and the Veyron was by far the fastest of them all, it FEELS slow, but it simply isn't, not even in the corners, it is fast everywhere: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ad-cars-bone-stock-green-hell-hot-lap.222154/
