I'm pretty sure we're converging on the same answer. ;)
We are I think

Oh yeah I completely forgot about that one. Now that you brought that up, heres what I remembered. Seattle was in the trailer. Interesting. That car didn't got added up until GT6 came out but no Seattle? What was the point of hyping up fans when they discovered that the Seattle circuit *Was it called Seattle I forgot* when they never brought the track back?
Also, Route X.

And I'm sure that was just a PS2 port for a trailer. Probably much the same as the track in the Alpine video.

I don't believe you on the Alphine part. Are you saying you've figured out what the track was that was shown in the new Alphine video and is a returning track from GT3 or 4??? And what the hell are they even doing using PS2 ports for a trailer of a game on the PS3? I understand that it's their games but PS2 why?

Calm down guys, old video, this was made pre-release.

Hype-train over, course maker is not coming, yet.

P.S - Notice the "#gt6iscoming" hashtag.

Now we're talking about stuff possibly from 2012 or early 2013. This is starting to get very interesting.

Why the hell would they waste time modelling a PS3 spec track for a trailer?

As said by many people before you

The only possibility that this video could mean anything, is if they were told to hold back on releasing the video until course maker was ready. Being a pre-release video, the makers would of expected to release it in 2013.

But anyway, until we hear from PD, don't jump on the hype.

Sorry for not going through every reply before posting on a thread, smarty pants. :D

It's only three pages, man.

And we got to the point about it possibly being held back until the course maker was ready. But nobody was hyping that possibility. ;)

I'm sorry but lately GT6 is nothing short of becoming the UNreal driving simulator - fantasy cars, fantasy tracks ... BMX commercials about a game which sole purpose is to drive CARS! WTF PD?!??!??!??!
I haven't touched GT6 for a loooooooong time ... and I was like glued when it was released ...
I hope for PD and Sony's sake GT7 will be more badass game. Otherwise ... let's hope Nissan has deep pockets.

Either your trying to confuse us or a misunderstanding. The way it was worded sounds like you were trying to say that the track used in the trailer for the Alphine VGT was a port from GT3 or GT4. Or just a track using GT3 or GT4's engine. A clearer statement could of help and I'm not trying to accuse you. Some people can't understand things you know.

If someone could help out and make his statement more clearer for me to understand it would be appreciated as I'm not the smartest person in the world.

This is the 🤬 problem with this site these days... THIS VIDEO IS NOT BOUGHT TO YOU BY PD, THEY HAD NOT ANTICIPATED FOR YOU TO SEE IT, WHY DO YOU BLAME THEM FOR CONTENT NOT THAT WAS NOT GENERATED BY THEM OR RELEASED BY THEM!!!!!
Because they approved it.
There is reference to GT6, right? There is reference to product within their product, right?
So ... IT IS GT6 related. Either this commercial SUX, or GT6 lately is totally missing the point for me.

Then why the heck are you still using this site?

It seems like an unreleased advertisement, the Alpine video featuring the course creator is just a coincidence.

Does this track creator just limit you to A - A type circuits?
Can you make a sprint type track from A - B?
Does the track creator app take into account geographic mapping?
Is the scenery editor simular to far cry map creator?

Nobody knows.
To some extend, yes. But it's just disappointment. Pure disappointment. I still check what is new and read about it. But I had no desire to even try the new cars ... which are FICTIONAL.
In short. Who is missing the point? Me or PD?
You are. This video is not part of Sony's marketing strategy for the game. Fictional cars have no bearing on this thread.

Can't be real ! I mean, you'll never get a GPS signal under a railway arch will you :D
Joking aside, I'll reserve myself from jumping on the hype train just yet and wait for an official statement.

If "This video is not part of Sony's marketing strategy for the game" how do you explain the logo at the end? :)

Except PD had nothing to do with that commercial in any compacity. There is not one single thing that PD is responsible for.

Basically then you can't read.
Pulse Films and Ninian Duff, the video’s director, were commissioned by the London-based creative agency Brothers & Sisters to create ads for Sony Europe when the game was released in 2013.
So no PD or Sony involvement? ... Riiiigghhhtt.. .

Who do you expect to answer these questions? PD won't that's for sure. Just wait until it's in our hands.

It looks like a trailer from2013, I'll not get excited til official word from PD or SCE

Looks like you are the one that can't read as nowhere I did I say Sony wasn't responsible. Funny enough, nowhere in that bolded sentence does it mention PD, which is the point I was making.

So legacyMACHINE hasn't responded to my confusion. Guys I think he's trying to hide the fact that the track featured in the Alphine VGT trailer is a track ported from GT3 or 4. Returning track confirmed?
