GT7 activity, road to becoming a car collector, will not open.

Had the game a while but the activity (available) when I try to open it just takes me back to previous screen. I have tried the suggested fixes but the consensus from the experts is that the GT7 disc for my PS5 is defective. So what do I do now please.

The Activity located on the PS5's XMB? It does nothing; ignore it.

As above, ignore it. I'm one trophy from the plat (50 sport races) and it still pops up on mine.
