Proved to be a decent day for racing, some outstanding racing and I managed a win in amongst it all, TM reverse is a decent track for gr4.

Added a 3 star win 🏆
Wow mate, that is amazing progress. Glad to hear you all are having fun out there, :)

I agree, PD chose the right combo this time, the Group 3 cars were a little faster and harder to control on the mountain.

Sunday morning drive again bears fruit, managed a couple of wins from a guy who I just couldn’t overcome yesterday and turned out I had make the move stick in the first turns! Or he was gone.

Picked up 3 wins in 5 races,

Hi guys, hope your racing weekend is going well. Here's my first one in DR B. Bit of a gift cause the 1st lost it at last esses. Just 5 races till now in this class, and I can see the difference from the lowers levels, particularly regarding pace. The tighter grid helps, I believe. Starting to feel more "at home", regardless some psico that's still fooling around. I didn't really care too much about DS rating while ranking up. Being now in DS B/C (continuously switching between the two) doesn't help. When back to DS S, they'll be filtered away hopefully.

I had a few hours of fun last night battling at Interlagos and Trial Mountain. However almost every race I started near the back. I usually start near the middle pack. I can't get my lap times down anymore. So I'll just relax and enjoy my races and not worry about finishing first.

So here’s a strange one, been sat at BB/BA all weekend, got a shed load of wins today and sure I was low B at some stage and then somehow jumped to AA? Let’s just say I know I ain’t staying there but I’m going to use today to get ahead, just finished 4th in a mostly A lobby

Edit. What a salty lot them A drivers are 🤨

Low A and high B is a violent place🤕🤯☠️ . It's much nicer being in the middle of any rank, I think

You ain't joking. These weeks are always tough where the higher level players come to daily B when typically they would be doing C so you get this massive pace spread (relative to the closeness of the times). Add in walls and "fear of losing A/A+" and being only 4 laps the sweat level goes up to 11

I've noticed that some of the drivers I've dealt with at Interlagos have been mean, one guy punted me off track near Sector 2. I'm dealing with mostly D drivers and a couple C's. I can't imagine the carnage and chaos that would be happening if I was in a higher ranked lobby. I was able to improve my lap time by a small bit, 1'36.368. This is probably the best I can do for now. How are you guys coming along? I'm sticking with the Porsche RSR in this scenario.

I have one solitary attempt at Race C this week, and the sweat just completely put me off.

Obviously, Nurburgring is a bad track for dive bombs. What's annoying is you're left to feel incompetent, when what your actually doing is trying to stay clean.

Haven't touched online since.

Oh, take a look at this guys. I had weird thing happen to me at the start of my 20th race at Trial Mountain. The game was acting like I was the leader. I chose the RCZ as you can see in the grid list. This has never happened to me and I hope it never does again. PD needs to fix these bugs/glitches. It ruins the fun of the game.

Well I'm wrapping it up at Interlagos and TM, I don't have a whole lot of time, I took a nap today to help my mom tomorrow, we have someone that's gonna help us take our trash out so I have to be ready for tomorrow morning. How have you guys liked this week? I think is was a pleasant enjoyable one plus we got six times the usual rewards for A and C. So I'm grateful for what PD provided for us, :)

Was really happy to see myself at 270 odd in the daily A rankings. Yes it's the van, and from the looks of things it accepts engine swaps.

Edit: or maybe not. How are they 8 seconds faster? I had my foot down.

Basically when you're going uphill or flat or you're 142kmh or below, drop to 4th

Downhill or above 142kmh go to 5th

Foot down the whole way won't work, you'll lose too much momentum

I like Spa. I do not love an hour long races in the daily races as i am a casual player and it's way harder to find the time for such long races if you also try to do some qualifying, but it is doable. But what a missed opportunity it is when you already have such a long race but it lacks weather and strategy and perhaps a day-night-cycle. Personally, i do not fancy such long races without conditions that spice it up a bit. With no refueling, no weather, no daylight-change, no tire-options for different strategies i personally think 10 rounds would have been enough. As of now you seem to not have enough time to do some qualifying between the races and if you qualify you have to wait for the next race for a looooong time. Nothing you casually start between dinner and a movie with your family on a weeknight.

The thing is what if someone was on Lap 23 of the race and the wi-fi connection went out, they'd be screwed and would have wasted their time, that is the main reason I'm not doing it either. Too much work and hassle. But my lap times aren't usually great at the Spa track anyways, and that would be too much work for only 20-30k credits.

Ok, I realised that I could just use the curcuit experience sector 3. Now it does not seem so mysterious anymore.
Thanks. Will

I had a similar experience. I only drove race B trial mountain last week (g70 bb+3 or plus 5, TCS mostly 0, except the first 2 corners TCS 1__quali 2.02.3xx) . I went down from. CS to DS, mostly because of being to polite, using indicator right, to show I give way, because of mistake or just too slow, go right, boom punted into the wall +penalty👏👍. Two days later, I think Wednesday, and really not too many races, about 10 races, I was a solid BS and I'm not talking bs😉.. But, I think I had to night races. Against A/C, b/c.. In one race, a A/S driver lost DR points, for coming in 5th!!!!position(red arrow down, red"A"). Sorry, but my opinion is, that this should not be possible. I know it's just math's, but still. If they don't want that the really good drivers drop out before start, in every race at night, that should change.

Besides the first day, a lot of great racing.. Really, 90%clean - super clean races.
.. By the way, not caring for DR much, I just like driving, I go from B-D and back to B all the time. It's the best days with gt since I'm 14. ❤️GT

The length itself is not the problem. The problem is that the length is meaningless without changing conditions, with only 1 tire option and no need for changing tires and refueling but with a mandatory pit stop. I do not have exact times available, but for slower drivers who mess up a pit intro or exit, i am not sure if a 1 minute penalty is even a penalty at all. If everyone has only 1 option for tires and no changing conditions you simply do not need almost an hour of racing to determine who is the fastest. With no options/need for strategy it is no endurance race, at least in my opinion. The lackluster payout is the cherry on top. In single player you have a very similar race with a lot of strategy and changing conditions that will earn you 1.5 mil credits in a more interesting race..

Yeah, exactly. Pay out 500K cr on race completion, say an extra 50K per position, and suddenly Race C becomes super compelling for a lot more people.

I’d rather trundle round, finish last and get 500K than spend a similar amount of time racing brain-dead AI for 1m.
