This car track combo just suits me for whatever reason. It's been a great week for farming DR and I should have a nice little buffer now for tougher weeks ahead.

I finally hit DR A after turning on and starting pole in an all BS lobby, won it and suddenly 29970 DR šŸ¤£ following race with 6 A+ I was 8th šŸ¤” so took a few more to finally get over the line,

Usually I do well at Tokyo so I reckon this will be a Renault twingo but hopefully something a little faster šŸ˜

Not sure where Iā€™ll be next week, gr4 willow springs Alfa 4C could be great too

I couldn't get on with a controller at all, much happier with a wheel, just can't use the paddles to shift gear.

Yes, some corners can be difficult, plus you sometimes have to brake to get the box to shift down, when those behind you don't have to! Can be a problem if they're really close.

It also means some cars can't be used, usually those that need short-shifting. Thankfully NGP is not one of the tracks I ever race on! Daytona oval is great for me, as it puts everyone on an even footing, top gear all the way round šŸ˜†.

I can help you with this if you want, you can use the mechanics against the system. Also you donā€™t need to do gear spamming just work the exits a little better in a higher gear.

I donā€™t change down to second following hol01 but Iā€™m .5 back from him.

Yes, I'm not having a problem with the Merc - seems to be perfectly happy using a higher gear, and more stable too.

It's some other tracks where I need to just tap the brakes to get the downshift needed. I also find the opposite solution sometimes, where running over a kerb forces an early upshift.

good job bro šŸ‘šŸ» I still haven't opened sport mode since getting A/S . . I figured I'll go back again when I finish races in single player, but only human comedy are fun ones :/

I know the feeling, shelve it whilst your on top šŸ˜ but this weeks A is a DR farm and I reckon next weeks will be too at Tokyo

Awesome action man!

This is really where it's been at this week. I normally save any exciting replays, but the racing has been so good I found myself saving every single one, so I had to cut it out!

I've had a few races on my alt this afternoon, and it's so "different". I had one driver being so different that I just had to laugh out loud afterwards.

Have loved following you boys duke it all week in race A! Has looked like an absolute blast
 
@benjoi84 it really has been an epic week, Iā€™m upto 35k DR, if next week is a peach at Tokyo Iā€™ll settling into DR A for the foreseeable šŸ˜‚

@Stringerbell missed ya this week bro, you had a decent time on A, you not feel it? I also see you got an epic race C time above Glen, so thatā€™s pretty much something special too šŸ˜

Yeah I was enjoying it at the start of the week but tbh Iā€™ve fallen out of love with the racing lately. Itā€™s just so hard to enjoy it when the clean races are so few and far between so Iā€™ve just been doing some time trialing which has been fun. Even to the point where I was on 28k DR and it didnā€™t even appeal to me to farm the DR to get into A. Which any other week Iā€™ve had that opportunity Iā€™ve been like a crack head chasing a fix with it šŸ˜‚

On race C, think itā€™s a hollow victory as Iā€™m not sure if Barney or Glen have put too many laps into it but Iā€™ll take it šŸ˜‚ was trying to push into top 1000 ended up about 1100 which I was happy with.

Will probably just time trial Laguna seca next week too
 
Is next week's races the group with Tokyo? From how I understand gtsh-rank.com puts the current races or in this case farthest future races at the top. Thus I would think the group with Trial Mountain would be next week and Tokyo the week after. https://gtsh-rank.com/daily/
Whatever week is actually Tokyo I'll try to be somewhat competitive and maybe at Big Willow too.

I think they stack up rather than down which would make sense so willow next week and Laguna?

Perfect! Sounds fun!!!

Pretty sure it will be Gr3 as they seem to alternate it between Gr3 and Gr4 each week so next week Gr4 race B and Gr 3 at Laguna seca for race C. Probs 12/13 laps Iā€™d guess
 
Improved my TT (PB) for daily race C to 1:55:423 which is some 1700ish rank. The whole week including this qualy time I've set with the lovely Corvette C7. The F-Type is a good car but the C7 suits my driving style a bit better so I race with too. Don't think Gr.4 + Daytona combo was a mistake. It's splendid.

Enjoying the Daytona Race C nonetheless. Am going to enjoy Laguna Seca in Race C from tomorrow onwards as well.
 
Some fun in race A this morning, fierce competition and quick drivers and less than careful driving and too aggressiveness through the bus stop, but hey ho

@Lightsider74 great win mate, you deserved that after all the mishaps this morning!

Check this other super close finish, 3 wide through the second last corner? šŸ¤£

Both of us trying to steal slipstream!! šŸ˜

It isnā€™t easy on that track, that Belgian guy was particularly aggressive through through the bus stop always on the first lap!!! šŸ¤¬ so a few you just have to let go,

But all in all, great racers out there
 
I have not had much chance to do many races this week but i did manage a few yesterday and met a couple of you along the way @brockie and @bone_tone. The race with brockie was a disaster, i got nailed in T1 and it just went downhill then šŸ¤£ I stacked it at the bus stop and quit. I think the race with bone_tone in it went much better and i finished 4 seconds clear. Did 4 races and ended up with 2 wins a 2nd and 1 dnf. Tried 2 this morning and bagged another 2 wins. Managed to get my QT down to a 14.4 but i just cannot go any quicker šŸ¤£ Really enjoyed this combo šŸ‘Œ

They certainly weren't afraid to take opportunities pass. Racing with their elbows out!
