This actually would be cool. Maybe not every race but say as part of some of the Race C process? Let's say 2 hot laps back to back so the tyres warm and it doesn't take long. You'd get some mixed grids.

Yeah would be fun and have you starting in all different positions on the grid each race!

Just saw that the CE for sardenga is a hyper car so maybe a nice little surprise for us tomorrow?

Since I started gt7, I no longer had a rig, never even expected compete on ds4 and buttons, I had lots of fun in sports mode but I'm far from my pace so I decided to retire until I get ps5 and wheel again. I know this result is not something special but journey was, many good memories, so wanted to thank all of you. Maybe see you again in sports mode, maybe not. I chill with gt7 and will try to finish 100% single player.

thanks man, it was difficult on buttons, I was off pace since I was in B rank but somehow managed to keep up due to experience in actual racing. I did some races in A but it's not worth it, buttons reached it's peek here and I don't want to be "relegated" lol
 
996 is fun right up until it isn't lol it's almost impossible to catch once the back starts going around

That’s one tough CE too, trying to gold that bad boy took some attempts 😁

I’d rather see gr3 Sardegna though, hopefully not too many laps, 8-10 max would do me,
 
Something different today for whom ever might be interested. Daily A in PSVR2 without hud. First lap or two were pingpong, as it seems to be in this daily A even on a "DR A" lobby. So few players, that DR A+, A and B share a lobby. From lap 3 you can see the difference in racing in DR A compared to BS. But it would be a very enjoyable race say 15laps in daily C.



I centered my PSVR2 way back, to give you some Idea of the FOV. Its still cutting a lot, as from this position I saw feet and right mirror in perioheral view. But this fow is pretty close to what you see if you use the automatic view centering/distance of the game.

Video was still a bit grey - takes a while for youtube to load the colors properly.

Well, Monza has been quality this weekend, if you take it as a one make it’s been a real racers week in race B

Highlight for me being below, a hard fought win, just the one. Really good racing @ Monza.

Look forward to Sardegna!

If next weeks dailies are another Hyundai fest i'm taking a break from this game... tired of it.
 
I just want daily races at a good track for once. They feel so scarce these days and I'm still having an insane amount of trouble as a controller user and a steering wheel is too much trouble for me to have.

I think with the new physics it must be much easier, I struggled at Le Mans for about an hour or so trying to gold it, whizzed through Sardegna with a couple of goes on each sector, the hyperscars are so much less loose on exit than they were before, give it another go as think you'll be surprised with how much simpler it is.

I did the gold before so no need to go back there but it’s funny you should mention that, after the physics changes I did re attempt a few, one which stuck out was the grand valley one in the gr3 Nissan GTR, mid sector on I just could not do, after loads of attempts could only get half a tenth away,

I think they changed the times as I got a decent time slower than my best and passed it, might have to do Le Mans and nordschleiffe

This is dual edged thing. Its boring to see one make, but atleast the Gr.3 Hyundai is qute enjoyable to drive..

This is a very welcome way to force people using other cars and collect data for BoP. Same as current nations season.

I tried Race C at Sardegna and it was a complete disaster... I got hit and doomed to last place. Why does the game have to be so hard for a controller user like me?! It feels like they made it this way because they want to push steering wheel sales. Also, I just don't know how to get better. No matter how much I practice, I can never match the speed of the many godlike players the game so stubbornly refuses to ever stop sorting me with... How does PD get away with being so abusive like this?
 
I struggle to understand two things. Why use RM on Gr4 when there is already a lot of grip available. And why do they nerf cars so heavily - over 100hp reductions. Thats not BoP, thats a whole another class of cars. Makes Gr3 basically purpose build gr4 cars and gr4 - i dont even know what it makes Gr4. Detuned street cars with rollbars? Racing school cars?

I guess its just "the easy way" to make cars more even - detune all of them and make them all so dull there is basically no character differences left on the cars..

I think "historically" looking they went way to agressive on de-tuning Gr3 already in GT Sport, and at some point they had to also nerf the whole Gr4 as it was too close to the nerfed Gr3. Is this a japanese cultural thing? Admitting mistakes is so difficult you rather try hiding them with new mistakes? You are rather right than do right?
